I've had a similar problem because my boyfriend was clingy and i lost interest in him. There's really no way to get out of it easily. You might break his heart and you could make him cry. That's what happened to me... but he will get over it eventually. To spare him of showing how sad he is... try breaking up with him over the phone instead of in person... it could be easier for you as well.

You can say things like.. im not sure we really clicked... or i don't think your the guy I'm looking for... or something that doesn't sound mean, yet gets your point across. It's always hard to hurt a Guy that like you, but eventually he will get better and you can both move on happily.

you would be merciless to be kind hun. definite, he has been a sturdy pal to you yet this is all. he's not your lover, he's not your boyfriend even, not in all probability. you're actually unable to flow on at the same time as he's on your lives. you may inform him which you savor him being a chum yet you do in comparison to him, not now, by no potential. tell him you actual won't placed up with any emotional blackmail. He can say regardless of he needs, not something will replace your ideas. you pick him out of your existence. If he says he won't be able to stay without your son, factor out your son isn't his son. factor out that if it wasn't for the very fact he grew to become into so clingy, you would be able to desire to stay acquaintances even though it won't artwork. you would be confusing. Truelly. i grew to become into in a courting with somebody, no little ones in contact nevertheless. I stayed with him for 3 years because of the fact he grew to become into so clingy. It grew to become into an adverse 3 years. He began asserting he might kill himself if I left him and then I snapped and advised him to flow forward. That grew to become into it, no going decrease back. i did not hear to to any extent further of his pleading. I then moved on :-) 18 years later, he continues to be alive!

When you dump someone you have to expect that they will be a little upset but the longer you let it go on the harder it will be for him to accept. Just be honest. I'm sorry but I can't see you any more because I just don't have the right feelings for you and never did.

You do it the same with with any boy...direct and to the point. It's best to be completely honest and don't try to not hurt his feelings. If anything, you need to be just a little bit mean and don't say: "I still want to be your friend". That little female statement will just give him hope and you don't want that.

Don't feel bad, it's just part of dating.
