My girlfriend and I just got back together after 1 week fighting about some online gay guy she liked and he liked her in returned. I'll refer to him as Bob. They never met in person and they have more in common but she recently found out that he lied to her about his boyfriends death two years ago and I assumed he lied for pity points. She was doing research on a local band and found out that Bob's bf is still alive and isnt gay but dating a girl for 3 years. The dates dont match up and when she approached him, he doesnt have a real excuse and he would twist the argument and say she's just like everyone else he ever met and that she is getting too involved him his personal life. I explained to her that he's playing a game and pinning her down, but that makes me look like the bad guy because i obviously don't like him and it seems like i'm just trash talking him. Recently, I started talking to my ex. It all seemed to start out very romantically, and he called every day for a week, and I thought we were talking about getting back together, but he didn't call one night when he had said he would, and I texted him wondering what was going on. He called and started yelling at me--I took it all, thinking it was good to get this kind of feeling out in the open, but then, the next thing I knew, he was pulling back and calling at his convenience only. I tried to be nice and say how happy I was at the positive things he was doing, but he seemed pretty upset. He encouraged me to talk about the past, and we got some very important things out in the open, but then he said something about not wanting to feel obligated to call. Later, he wrote an email in which he talked about wanting to stay in touch but on his terms, and also basically saying that he didn't feel the same way as he used to on the phone. What happened? Is this coming from him or me?

I am a 17 yr old guy. I want to save myself for someone very very special. One day, sooner rather than later, I want to find my sweetheart and cuddle with her forever. I want to hold her in arms and tell her I love her more than she could ever imagine. I want her to know she will always be loved and nothing could ever change that whether I'm sleeping beside her or in heaven looking down.

With that said, I hope I find a girl who feels the same way.

I mean, I know most guys don't want any of that. They want 20 min. w/ a girl and then never see her again.

But don't most girls want what I want? Why do SO many give it to men that don't care about them?

I've been to fraternity parties and almost every sorority girl went home w/ a guy. Why? I mean, sex w/o love isn't intimate, sweet, and prolly not even enjoyable b/c you can't even say I love you...

Gosh, I hope there's someone beautiful out there waiting just for me....as much pre-marital sex as there is.

Lately though, I have been thinking alot about this friend of mine. We are close and she is great and we have known each other a long time. So what to do?

Background: I met him just over a month ago. I scared him off--plus, he's still getting past being a bit jaded from his divorce 3 years ago. He was open to getting together. We did a few times. Before, he was sure he didn't want to date. Now that I'm acting more like myself with him, he's open to it. I saw him on Friday...we had a great time and ended up fooling around a bit. He seemed a little distant after we did in the morning. He dropped me off on Saturday--good conversation on the way home and a kiss goodbye. I've not heard from him yet. Theres this girl that I work with who I like. I am really shy with girls and I haven't talked to her or anything yet. I want to get to know her but I feel to afraid to even talk to her. I've noticed that she is kinda quiet herself and I've been told that she's really nice but I keep getting this feeling that she doesn't like me, or she thinks im obnoxuious even though she doesn't know me, or that she thinks im not good enough for her. We spent yesterday together and we bonded at the end of the day, he waited with me for my train to arrive and he ended up cuddling up to me and holding hands.
The thing is he's really shy and we never openly expressed any feelings to how we feel about each other and didnt talk about it on msn, it's much different in reality.
I'd like to ask him to be my boyfriend but im afraid of being rejected..and im so confused..i like him and im sure he probably likes me...but i dont know?

Two weeks ago, my ex and I were talking every day, and I thought we were going to get back together. I brought up some issues and I thought the conversation went very well, but the next thing I knew, he was writing this:
I don't want to have to feel like I have to call you because I feel forced to call or text. Our conversations don't feel the same way to me. I feel strained. This is partly because it is not important to me. Maybe I am being heavy handed, but I cannot give you the time you want and the ability to say I can call you at this time. Well I 've been talking to this guy for about a couple of months, we haven't even kissed or anything because I've made it clear that I'm not going to rush into anything. He's told me that he's never felt this way for anybody ....Then I saw he has a myspace and I didn't tell him about it for a while. He just talked to his usual friends on it. Then I told him I saw his myspace page, and after that I never mentioned it to him again. Well after he found out that I know his myspace, he's been really close with some girl on it, they keep messaging eachother back and forth. he also put her #1 on his friends. but he never mentions her to me. What should I do? If i mention it will he think i'm crazy? Or is he trying to make me jealous, knowing that I might check his page once in a while..? Guys what do u think??

so.. I have been dating this guy for awhile now.. I thought things were going great.. and he keeps telling me how much he cares about the relationship.. I have been monitoring a profile that I ran across of his on a personals/sex site...mostly because we did meet on yahoo personals.. and I did a search on his screen name. and all the other posts came up.. anyways.. I talked to him before about it.. said that he put them up so that he would reach more people.. considering most people only use one site.. but now that we were together.. not an issue.. He travels to georgia for a bit for work/a business that he is starting down there.. I found out tonight that he changed his post.. says.. i am seeing this guy but its not a relationship.(when i met him he told me from the beginning that he doesnt want a relationship)we hook up when we can and dont see each other during the week.
