I know this may not be a popular answer, and I wouldn't suggest this in most situations, but you gotta kick the **** out of her, and then take your beating back from her friends. Then she will know you are capable of doing it again and will back off.
The reason this advice is so direct, is because the mean girl is just a bully, but uses popularity and degredation instead of physical violence. And since there is no consequence when she does those things, why wouldn't she do it again? At least corner her, scare the **** out of her. Show her you are not afraid, even if you are.
Chances are you are timid, or she wouldn't pick on you. Let her either think you are violent or psycho, it can't be worse than what she thinks about you now, but she'll keep her trap shut.
It is the rule of the universe: If someone like that never gets shut up, they will think they can do it forever.

What you need to do is hold your head up high, and pretend like you dont care. dont talk about her behind her back, and just talk to her like there's nothing wrong. if you be nice to her, you can show that you don't give a crap what she's saying. Just act liek you dont care and move on. People like her are not needed in your bubble of peace and happiness

The best thing is to do nothing. As soon as she sees that it's not bothering you she will stop. The more that you complain to a teacher etc the more she knows that she's getting to you. Also you know it's not true along with your friends. Just smile when she does it again. You know what the truth is and so do your friends.

Well, the answer to this question all depends on what relationship you have with this girl.
It depends on if you are/were friends with this girl or not.

just let it go..don't try to do anything that puts u at her level...everything has it's payback, so just let destiny to deal with her through time...cause u still have other important things to deal with...& somehow I'm talkin' from experience
