I am a 17 yr old guy. I want to save myself for someone very very special. One day, sooner rather than later, I want to find my sweetheart and cuddle with her forever. I want to hold her in arms and tell her I love her more than she could ever imagine. I want her to know she will always be loved and nothing could ever change that whether I'm sleeping beside her or in heaven looking down.
With that said, I hope I find a girl who feels the same way.
I mean, I know most guys don't want any of that. They want 20 min. w/ a girl and then never see her again.
But don't most girls want what I want? Why do SO many give it to men that don't care about them?
I've been to fraternity parties and almost every sorority girl went home w/ a guy. Why? I mean, sex w/o love isn't intimate, sweet, and prolly not even enjoyable b/c you can't even say I love you...
Gosh, I hope there's someone beautiful out there waiting just for me....as much pre-marital sex as there is.

Awww, that was beautiful. I wish there were guys like you where i live. Anyway, to answer your question. The reason why is because the guy at the party is probably gassing up the girls head. Saying things such as "youre the most beautiful girl ive ever met" or "im really liking u". When they dont mean it. Some girls just wanna have a one night stand. Many know there being gassed up but just dont care. They want attention probably because they dont get enough at home or something happend with them in the past.

Dude, I applaud you for finding a moral compass and sticking to it. I'm actually being serious here; I really do.
That said, reality check time. Sex and love are two different things. They can be used to express one another, but they are definitely not the same thing.
Sex can exist without love, just like love can happen without sex.
Don't get me wrong; keep doing what you're doing. There's a chance you find a woman with the same mindset.

I went to a Christian boarding school and christian college so I was spared all that drama. I am now with a man who has promised to be my husband and I can't wait to marry him in a few months. I am saying no to sex until we get married. I am like you. Sex outside of marriage is really bad and I don't understand why some girls do it.

though i respect your decision and your outlook on love, what you said just makes you sound really soft and squishy. truth is, girls seems to like guys that act more manly and that are more adventurous. you just made yourself sound really clingy and touchy, which can be a major turn-off to women.. however, if you happen to hook up with a nice girl, props to you..
