hi everyone,
i'll start by saying that i feel really stupid.i was going out with a guy for a year.He was shallow and very jealous.Always wanted me to be with me 24/7.He didn't like the fact that i saw my friends once a week and so i stop seeing them in order to not have an argument.
Always calling me selfish.He bought me 2 presents in the first month and after that nothing.He counts how many time phoned him and see him.Dosen't like the fact i work a lot.I'm pretty but he thinks that most of my collegues has a crush on me.He always told me the way he show his love is trough love making and making supper when i visit him.We almost never went out.He whould make a scene when a guy loocked at me.I broke up with him( a week ago) and he didn't react.So am i stupid for still loving this guy??(i need honest opinion from guys about this type of men and guys act this way??)

We have been together for about a month and a half. I know he is REALLY into me wich is great cuz I am really into him too. To be honest, he is the best guy I have ever dated! :) Everything I would ever want in a man.

One thing that is confusing me though... Sometimes he tells me he loves me. But I don't know if it is an "I love you" or more of a "luv ya"... Last night when I dropped him off at his car when he was getting out he kissed me and said "love you baby", then today he sent me a text message and at the end of it he wrote "love you babe".

My question is do guys throw around the "L" word? Or when they say it do they really mean it?

I have not said it back to him because to be honest, I don't love him YET. I can tell I will, but I personally need more time. Is it rude not to say it back? Should I because I know I am heading down that path or keep my lip zipped for now?

see i just told a boy i liked him and he said he liked me to. then his sister told me he doesn't like me, because i'm a tall skinny wanch. but me and his sister don't get along. so the same day my best friend asked him does he still like me. he said yes, but he doesn't want to go with me,because me and his sister don't get along. so that means he still likes me but doesn't want to go with me. i just don't know i'm so confused!

Okay well i'm really confused...I guess...I have been 'talking' to this guy for almost 2 months. Ya know, he's asked me to come over to watch a few movies but everytime something has happened so I had to cancel. He's not the kind of guy that would pressure you into anything so don't worry about that. Oh i'm 16 and he's 17 btw. So about a month of just 'talking' he asked me to be his girlfriend and I told him not yet. Well about two weeks ago, he brought it up again, and asked why I wasn't ready for a boyfriend yet. I didn't know what to say to him. I like him A LOT!! And I really like being with him, it kinda seems like we already are, so why do I have such a problem with being called his girlfriend? It just doesn't make sense...Can anyone help me with this? Lol because now it's really starting to kinda bother me. Thanks

We've been talking a lot on the phone. We didn't get to see eachother a lot. This isn't the first time she's done this. It's been 2 1/2 months we've been well together. I like her a lot ad have feelings for her. She's now saying that she's not sure if she's ready for a relationship. She's really backed off. She said as well last night she didn't want anything to change, but then said she wanted to back off. She's really a wonderful woman, with amazing qualities. Should I back off as well and give her the space she needs or should I just give up?

We have been together for a year and a half. He says he loves me and we live together. I always see him looking at other women. When we are out together he tells his guy friend to talk to girls he thinks are attractive. The other problem is I am a plus size. My boyfriend met me like this but I was a few pounds heavier when we met. He said he is attracted to plus size women but everyone he checks out is so thin. I have been going to the gym and working out to loose weight. He seems suportive. I just have this instinct that he is going to cheat on me or leave me. These feelings make me very depressed. Lately he is a little different. He dresses better when he goes to work, like he dresses when we go out at night. I don't know if I am being paranoid but it makes me feel so bad I can not concentrate at work.

Ok, I was going out with this guy named Rick for 2 months and I broke up with him because I started likeing someone else. When I told this other person that I was gonna brake up with Rick (he knows him) he was all happy and he was like Ok let me know so I don't miss my chance and stuff but then when I told him I broke up with Rick, he goes like oh well that's good honey, too bad I'm too old for you. so i've been broken up from a crazy (maybe just bad even) relationship for over three months now and am just about past it. their is a girl at work i like that i'm pretty certain will go out with me if i ask. i want to ask, but then i don't, or at least i don't know if i do. i'm 21 and she's 18. no harm there. however she still is in highschool. she's a senior with no b/f, still a virgin (not really a big thing, just she's clean), but i do like her. she can be a bit weird, but that's what dating is for anyway. to find out if you like them or not. but i'm worried she'll get really attached. specially at her age. and the chance she give "it"up to me will only increase the chances of her potentially getting attached.
I don't fear commitment, but i gave a lot of commitment into my last relationship just to have it slapped in my face. so i want a slower relationship, but i'm afraid.
and please, no, don't date co-workers thing. its not a serious job we work for.

I had a deam about one of my friends that I used to like. Well I don't like him anymore and he doesn't like me...that i know of. Ok well in my dream he like me and we were holding hannds and doing all the stuff ppl who are going out do. Well, I like another guy, but when i dream about him, his picture is fuzzy, and we never act as though we are going out. I see my other friend perfectly...is my dream or God trying to tell me something?
