A French kiss is a tongue kiss, deep kiss, snog or neck.
It is a romantic or sexual kiss in which one person's tongue touches the other's tongue (or lips) and usually enters his/her mouth.

BUT if you are greeting a French person then don't do that. Greet the person with a friendly kiss on both cheeks (on their face!) or do air kisses.

Check out the link in source for more information on french kissing (passionate variety).
It has some more links on that subject as well.
Have fun.

the french kiss

This is the most popular type of kiss. This involves touching your tongue with your partner's and it can be quite a pleasant experience. There are a few tips to create a great french kiss.

Open Lips - Open your lips "slightly" more than you would during a regular kiss. This makes it easier to place your tongue in your partner's mouth.

Tongue - Place the tip of your tongue on the tip of your partner's tongue. Do not force your tongue too far into their mouth. If you wish, you can play with their tongue by circling theirs with your own, running the tip of your tongue along theirs, darting your tongue in and out of their mouth teasingly, or running the tip of your tongue along their teeth or roof of their mouth. If all else fails and you're still unsure of what to do, just use your tongue the way your partner uses theirs. Have fun with it! Explore!

Lips - You may explore different ways of using your tongue. Try running the tip of your tongue over your partner's lips. Do this slowly and gently, just using the tip of your tongue.

Ha!
I remember me and my Mum messing around and I said French kiss Mum! And she was like what!!!.
I thought French kiss meant what you do when you kiss each other pretending to kiss on the cheeks.
I was like whats wrong and she said it was rude.
This was years and years ago now but I later found out that it was basically what everyone else had answered.

Honey French Kissing is GREAT!!! It is where you and the guy your kissing use your tongues. like you slip your tongue in his mouth and he does the same. It is GREAT I promise. But some women don't like French Kissing.

The whole thing started in France and the crazy french people...its when you get a bit more passionate with a person that lips are not good enough to put out the fire, so you reach out with your tongue, you like the other person's lips and go deeper touching your way into their mouth with your tongue....

done properly...........It can be very hot............
