Find something to do go out and enjoy yourself. Your world isn't over, the time while you're thinking about him you could be out flirting

Remind yourself of the reasons not to care about him.
If you can't get over him than you probably have low self esteem and need to get over him or you will become mentally unstable.
For example: I cared about a girl. She did things that I didn't think were good for her.
Resolution: realize that she is not me and has a mind of her own and move on with life.
