if she originally broke up with you then the cardinal rule is to not take her back.Go date and meet lots of other women and be happy with your own life.Her "life is in shambles" is NOT FOR YOU TO FIX.

it all depends if you still value her as a friend. If she's seeking a comeback, and your plans don't involve her, you should state that right away. Being a good friend is never wrong.
