my self esteem is really low right now...i am an international student in singapore and i'm pretty alone. I have a wonderful girlfriend and I live with her... its great and i dont really have the need to have friends.. even when they call me out I dont wanna go.. but i feel there's something wrong in feeling that.. i dont have many friends.. and its really tough to get to know ppl.....
please .. i just need some assuring words and feel good about myself.....

We have been together for about a month and a half. I know he is REALLY into me wich is great cuz I am really into him too. To be honest, he is the best guy I have ever dated! :) Everything I would ever want in a man.

One thing that is confusing me though... Sometimes he tells me he loves me. But I don't know if it is an "I love you" or more of a "luv ya"... Last night when I dropped him off at his car when he was getting out he kissed me and said "love you baby", then today he sent me a text message and at the end of it he wrote "love you babe".

My question is do guys throw around the "L" word? Or when they say it do they really mean it?

I have not said it back to him because to be honest, I don't love him YET. I can tell I will, but I personally need more time. Is it rude not to say it back? Should I because I know I am heading down that path or keep my lip zipped for now?

Thats the vibe i get from this yahoo page. because when i was back home 11 years back, you could not even hold hands in public, let alone date someone or have sex with someone, that just did not happen.....so what is really going on there now, i'm curious...

I know she's a lesbian because she's said so many times during class. When the class first started she mentioned she didn't have a girlfriend and she would also look at me then. But this last Tuesday she said she has a new girlfriend but she kept looking at me throughout the entire classtime! I don't get it. If she has a girlfriend why does she look at me?

I like dthis guy .....well i still kinda do but yeah........i asked something about him a couple of months ago..if he liked me or not.....but any ways he was cool with me he told me he liked me and that he wanted to go out with m...but a day later he told me he wanted to be friends and he started to ignore me. so i stoped talking to him. but now he wants to talk to me and he goes up to me and try to make a converstaion up. what should i do? i dont wana make him feel bad but he made me feel bad. should i ignore him or just go on with the flow? Well.. I've known this guy for about 5 months now, and when i met him, he had a girlfriend. Just recently they've broke up,
and he has been saying things to me like..
"I love your new haircut"
"I'm happy when im talking to you"
And when-ever i see him at school, he gives me a hug.

Oh, i forgot to mension, i'm in love with this guy.
He's in one year up from me though.

I'm confused.
I dont know weather to ask him out, or wait for him to do it... if he ever will.

Hi! My friend has a boyfriend but is always talking about his brother to me...the hard part about it her boyfriends brother is with MY SISTER! And he doesnt like her...she likes him! This older guy that I work with(I've liked for 2+ years), flirts with me and then sometimes acts like he just wants to be friends. He holds doors open for me, stares at me stands close to me, etc. About 2 weeks ago, I told him my bday was coming up and he was trying to remember how old I was, he asked me if I was turning 24. I told him I was going to be 27. He said...."Oh well that's even better! " He winked at me and we said our goodbyes. Anyway, the next monday on my birthday he wished me a happy bday. I am really shy, but I asked him out for dinner and that it would make my day even better. He got all flustered and said he couldn't because the age difference is too large(17yrs). Now its like that never happened. Its like we're back to being friends. He still flirts, but I'm confused at what he wants. Should I not have asked him to dinner? Am I being too forward? HELP

I want to know why girls prefer good looking guys that are totally jerks than smart guys.
U see i like one girl but she likes another guy that she dont know, just has saw him and ...well she like him...
This is a bit strange for me...

I cannot talk to guys. AT ALL. My brain freezes over and I can't think of a single thing to say! I just blush and look at my feet and wish I would disappear through the floor. I am actually scared of guys, and it's so totally silly but I don't know how to get rid of it :P! When I was little a used to play with guys all the time, I hanged out with my brother and his friends and played soccer and stuff. But now it's like they're a different species and I don't know how to communicate with them. I don't know what they are thinking or how I should act towards them. I'm very naive for my age and they just seem so mature and it's like a cultural clash or something. It's like they grew up and I just stayed the same. My friends have told me is a shame I act this way cause I'm a really fun person once I let my guard down, but I don't know how to loosen up -__-! plz help?

Me and this guy dated last year and we had problems this year and we broke up and didn't talk for 8 months straight. We started talking back in December and talk things out. Come to find out he's been in love with me every since we broke up and now where dating again. And another guy is coming into the picture that has been in love with me for 4 years now. I really like the guy that I didn't talk to for 8 months and I am very sure that I am in love with him but at the same time the guy who has been in love with me for 4 years hasn't showed it until now or that I have noticed, I think he wants to date me but I'm not sure if I have the same feelings for him or not. First off. Im the bigger brother. Im 17 years old...and my little brother is 13 years old. He is 6'2'' 240 pounds, and im 5'8'' 140 pounds. Last year at this time he was about the same size, maybe a lil bigger. But this past year he got HUGEE, and not just tall huge. He got really buff. It gets on my nerves so bad cuz he will tease me and when we argue i look up at him, and i cant even play fight him anymore, cuz hes too big. He just overpowers me in anything. People always think hes the big brother, and now he treats me like a little brother. He gets more freedom too, he hangs out with older guys, i mean guys that are my age, but all his friends are tall and buff too. My parents let him drink beer when his friends come over, and they treat me like crap. They will beat me up for fun. He tell me hes the big brother now and threatens to beat me up. Hes done it too. He gave me a black eye, when his friends are over, he will grab me by the arms and hold me down and let his friends beat me.
