Singles & Dating - 27 January 2007

Every time I meet a woman that I am interested in, I have a big problem! (no not that!). When we are getting to know each other everything is fine, but when I invite her back for coffee and things start getting amorous, I feel compelled to do one of two strange things.


Either I bring out my world atlas of 'fascinating lesser-known stamps' of the world (scintillating I assure you!), or I try to do my amazing impression of a Chicken barking. Both activities lead to another night alone in my 'rare heroes from Enid Blyton novels' pyjama's and a mug of lukewarm Cocoa.

How do I stop myself doing this?.

I liked this girl when I met her briefly three months ago (she was visiting a mutual friend in my city). Now she's coming to visit again and I've agreed to let her stay in my place for a couple of weeks (her friends place is being renovated). Is this a good idea? I think I'd enjoy her company and I'm sure I'll get a few shags out of it (just to bring this question down to the base level!). My paranoid fear is that she might have her own plans to move to my city, and is hoping I'll let her stay for much longer than two weeks, long enough for her to find a job, her own place, and a new boyfriend. To put it in one sentence, I fear she might turn out to be a tramp who will be impossible to get out of my house.

So, my really good friend is in love with me and he keeps on acting weird. It's kind of freaky. Oh gosh where do I start, I have been dating this guy for almost a year and we live together (bad mistake on my part) but I want out of the relationship. I have tried breaking up with him on several occasions because I honestly dont see the relationship going anywhere, but I have a huge problem with being too nice everytime I break up with him he comes begging me back and I feel horrible because I know he loves me and I love him but just not in that way anymore. I have tried to explain this to him but he just does not listen and he makes me feel bad. Also I dont know what to do because we are both on the lease but I just dont want him there anymore, he doesnt help out around the house he owes me like $400 from the last 4 months of our rent payments, and to top it off he has cheated on me once with some ugly b****. Now I have explained this all to him but he always has this way to lure me back and make me feel horrible. I need some advice on this situation.

why do all of my old guy friends i went to highschool make a big deal that i've changed?
i found alot of them on myspace and they keep telling me how i've gotten hot and wasn't when i was in highschool.

My bf has almost all female friends. Whenever he makes new friends, they are girls. He recently told me he wants to spend more time with friends. But these are not friends he's had for a long time, these are new people he met. For example, he offers to take a girl he met off an internet site out for coffee. Or, a girl he just met at the mall. Or, a friend of his coworker who occasionally stops by. Admittedly, he adds them to his msn and they chat off and on first. He usually pays for activities, even for just friends. I know it's not wrong in principle to make new friends or want to spend more time with them. But something about the fact he is meeting new girl friends instead of just hanging out with his old friends, and that he is likely paying for their activities ... is the line not somewhat blurred here? I don't feel like he's intending to cheat; rather I feel he's sampling around for potential others, which I think is wrong when you're still in a relationship.

There is a boy who likes me. He calls me like everyday. It is so anoying. He asked me out 4 times! The first time I said yes to give him a chance. I broke up with him because nothing was happening. Then he asked me out agin and I said no in the nicest possible ways. He still keeps calling. I have tried everything! I told him I was grounded, he still called. My aunt told him I wasn't there, he still called. My aunt even told him I died and he still called! He will not leave me alone. Everytime the phone rings I am praying that it is not for me. I am having a tough time in my head at the moment. I have a f**k buddy. Been going on for a couple of months or so. I am a woman, I have started to develop feeling for him, playing it cool though. I can talk to him about anything and he is a really nice guy, I fancy the pants off him too!
I never text him or contact him until he does me, the texts run along the lines of what we are going to do when we meet up next but he also said that there is more to it than that....I am a good person and he always looks forward to seeing me. Its driving me insane, I feel the need to say something but do not want the big heavy relationship and dont want him to think I do. I like the pace for the moment....once a week or so. I just know if he meets anyone else it with bother me. Help please you guys, I cant think about anything else and am meeting him tomorrow.

sorry,i was writing my last question in txt and i left out alot of information.so i`ve been told by my sis.okay here goes.we went out when we were 9 but we were really nervous around each other so we rarely talked,but we did want to be wit each other.when we got into secondary school,we got into different classes and for some reason we both just ignored each other.we didnt go out with any one else.a couple of months ago we were on a school trip and on the bus back home we spent the whole 3 hours talking to each other.from this i realized i never stopped liking him.a month ago i got his phone number off of a friend.i txted him `how you been`.at first he didn`t believe it was me.i woz meant to txt him for a bit longer but some one told him that i kissed another guy,and he called me the village bicycle (the only reason why i kissed that guy was because he really liked me,he was getting bullied and he was hurting himself.i was hoping that me kissing him would give him some confidence)

Okay, I have a tutor who is about a year older then me (2 grades higher). She tutors me after school. I really like her but I don't know if she likes me. What can I do to see if she likes me, or what can I do to empress her? I am pretty shy when it comes to this stuff.
