As long as you are both over 18 that is OK... there could be some maturity differences when you are both that young.
That age gap can also cause problems because it limits the place you can go and the things that you can do together if you like to drink.
I dated a man that was six years younger than be (I was 28) and I dated a man that was 8 years older than me (still in my 20's).
It just depends on the person and the situation.

12.5 years. I was 31 when we met and he had just turned 44. Its two years later, I am 33, he is 46 and we are now married. Best relationshipe I have ever been in. Before him, the biggest age difference between me and a guy I dated was 4 years. The age differences don't seem like such a big deal once you hit the 30 mark - lol.

10 years. In the beginning everything was great. The longer we were together the more I realized how big the age differences was. I think it all depends on the age though. A 14year old should not be dating a 24year old person. But if you are 35 and dating someone who is 45- it might work. It all depends on how mature someone is. You may think you know what you might want in your teens, but as you get older you find out who you really are and what you really want.

When I was 19, I dated a 33 yr old guy for almost a year. He was on the immature side and didn't look his age. We got a long great for that year, but mutually decided to be friends.

I dated a guy who was 35 when I was 20. That was a very happy relationship for me, even though he was in the Air Force when I was in first grade. I was once asked out by a guy who was 44 when I was 24, but I didn't give him the time of day because he was also high at the time. :-)

She was 7 years older than me (33 vs 26) the scariest thing though that I later found out she had a 14 year old daughter - she'd been a parent for over half my lifetime.
