Some people say that men and women can not share a solid friendship and when you really take a look at it, it is true. The man and the woman might be able to friends for some time, but after a while one or the otehr begins to catch feelings, then the friendship is no longer the same. And since they know one another so well, eventually they might end up hooking up to see how it feels, sometimes it works out and other times it doesn't, but eventually one begins to start catching feelings.

absolutely, one of my very best friends in high school was a guy, there were never any romantic feelings from either of us, and I would not have enjoyed high school half as much if he hadn't been my friend. If you have a guy friend or a girl friend (only friends) the quickest way to ruin that friendship is to turn romantic, because if the romance doesn't work out, the chances are when that is over you have also lost a good friend.
