Do it in a unique way...send her a little gift, like a rose with a note attached to it by a ribbon or a little box with a note in it and be there when she turns around. Things like that always catch women off guard and she probably won't refuse you the date, even if she wouldn't have ordinarily said yes.

You don't even need any of that gift/flower stuff. (even though it is nice). When my boyfriend asked me out, he had tried for 4 days and couldn't because he was so scared. I knew what he was going to ask me but it was so cute and flattering that he was freaking out so much about it. Anyway, my point is, just do it and just be yourself. Let her know how you really feel about her and how much you like her.
