I have this friend that I have been friends with since 1st grade! We are now juniors in high school! She told me the other day that she was liked girls! I did not hold tht against her at all! But then yesterday she told me that she wanted to date me and spend the rest of our lives together! I always thought that we would be friends forever but not that kind of friends! I do not like girls and I do not know how to tell her no without hurting our friendship that has been going on since 1st grade! WHAT SHOULD I DO???

Ok, in my school "going out" with someone means there your boyfriend/girlfriend. So there is this guy name John and recently i noticed him looking at me during class and now i like him but he is really popular and i'm not really popular but kind of popular. And he is really athletic so all his friends are "jocks" and they are popular also. One of his really good friends is my ex-boyfriend to and i'm afraid that if my ex tells John that i would be a really bad girlfriend that John won't like me anymore.

Hi, i am 14 years old and I have a relationship problem. I Have a male friend in fact he is my best friend that is going out with a girl i have liked for a few months and I believe she realizes this. She and him are still happy and stuff but she flirts with me sometimes and I still like her. There is this guy , we were talking for a few weeks. He seemed ok. He asked for a date. I agree to meet him. Then the night before the date, he calls me at 2 AM. Drunk, slurring his words, tells me he is to drunk to go out tomorrow, and to call him he might feel better to go. I was like whatever. That was about 3 months ago. Now, he calls and e-mails me, (4 times so far) saying he knows he is a jerk, and can we talk and go out. I felt that was wrong and very disrespectful. What would you guys do?????

my boyfriend wants to use my car for about an hour and I told him that I didn't want to be stuck with out a car, but I'd take him whereever he needed to go. He got mad. should I let him use it? What is he doing that he don't want me to go with him. after all... it is MY CAR!!!

and I know I am lucky to have him. But I am so insecure still. I am divorced as my ex husband used to drink and stay out at bars all night. I left him as I felt i deserved more than that. The guy im with now would never do that and he doesnt even go to bars. he is a home type of man and he wants us to buy a house together and start for a baby But I still feel insecure that another woman will take him from me. I am jelous of other woman and I worry in my mind if good looking women are around. I am quite good looking but feel that he will get bored of me after being with me for a long time and will maybe start getting intrested by other women as people keep telling me that men cant help it.

does anyone else here feel these same fears? any tips on how to stop them? I have talked to my partner about it and he says that he loves me and only wants me. I really need to get over this! Any tips?

i know there are people that cheat beacuse they are scum and they do it over and over agian and theres no excuse for that but what if someone was just starting out a relationship and then one night went out and slept with someone...at the time they didnt even want to but did nothin to stop it... and even felt fo guilty and told the partner.. why would drive someone to the point to even go ahead and do it with sopping it after it started?

And yes, I know many single people are happy to be single... I'm not talking about you lot. No, I'm referring to those people that are always moaning about being single: "It's sooooo hard to meet people these days..." And the stupid thing is, they don't have to be single.
But you know why these people are single, and will probably end up lonely and loveless? It's because they expect perfection in a mate/spouse/partner. Maybe that's due to the culture we live in, with its obsession with superficial beauty, wealth, and fame.
Folks, I hate to break it to you, but unless YOU are incredibly gorgeous (and you're not) , a millionaire (and you're not!), and world-famous (AND YOU'RE NOT!), you have no right to expect those things in a partner. Find someone who's real, with good qualities and imperfections... just like you. These reality shows and E! and MTV shows are so damaging, because stupid, impressionable young people think they MUST measure up. And being real people, they can't...

He is sort of cute and he told his whole class he liked me before and he does not like me any more but i know he does still like me. i know he still likes me because he always stares at me during lunch and he trys to sit close to me all the time. he is a hockey player. he is always skating with girls at a skating program on friday nights so he must be romantical.

A friend of mine has seemed to have lost his marbles. He asked me to fix his computer and reinstall windows xp for him. So like a good friend I did. When I gave the computer back (all fixed) he called me the next morning and asked were his laptop was. I scratched my head in confusion and said I just gave it to you last night. He said that I switched his computer with another one and the one I gave him back was not his and I stole his and he wanted it back. I asked him several times if he was joking with me. I was there when he bought his computer and I know it was his when I was fixing it. He still 3 months later insists that I switched his computer with someone elses. What do you think happened and why? What should I do about this?
