A friend of mine has seemed to have lost his marbles. He asked me to fix his computer and reinstall windows xp for him. So like a good friend I did. When I gave the computer back (all fixed) he called me the next morning and asked were his laptop was. I scratched my head in confusion and said I just gave it to you last night. He said that I switched his computer with another one and the one I gave him back was not his and I stole his and he wanted it back. I asked him several times if he was joking with me. I was there when he bought his computer and I know it was his when I was fixing it. He still 3 months later insists that I switched his computer with someone elses. What do you think happened and why? What should I do about this?

If he wanted to see if it was his laptop, all he'd have to do is check the serial numbers against the one he bought, or check the file index for dates. I'd just ignore it - and him - at this point.

All you're able to do is shelter your innocence. in the event that they insist then remind them that the load of evidence is on them, and in the event that they think of they have a case they should take you to courtroom. in any different case they should returned off and doubtless concentration on that different guy.
