Be honest with her. She is either mature enough to understand that and still remain your friend, or she is not. If she is mature great if not well you can't control that.

First of all, I'm assuming you are also a girl. You didn't specifically say so, but that's what I'm getting.
Look, this is not that difficult. Just talk to her. Tell her you don't want to hurt her feelings, but you are not gay, and you love her as a friend and only as a friend.
There is no way out of this w/out hurting feelings. But, the truth is always the best way. Just be gentle about it.
Good friends are precioius. If you have one or two true friends in a lifetime, you're very lucky indeed. If she is a true friend, she will respect your feelings, as you need to respect hers.
Best of luck to you both.

Gurl if she's truly your friend she will understand and get over it. Just sit down and talk to her and be sensitive with your words so that you don't hurt her feelings. Just tell her that you are straight and are only attracted to men. Therefore you aren't interest in women. Let her know that you support her with whatever her sexual preference is and that you will always be her friend but nothing more. Ask her to please respect that and leave it at that. If she's truly your friend she will respect that and find someone else to make her girl. Good Luck !!!!

LOL! It was funny reading your message because after EVERY sentence there was an exclamation mark. Anyways, just tell her like a friend that you don't have that kind of feeling for her, that you love (well you do don't you? I mean you've spent what...10 years together?) her very much but only as a friend type of thing and it wouldn't work out anyways...

Just be straight forward with her and tell her how you feel. Thank her for being honest and straight forward. You have no way of knowing how she will react of course. But if she respects you and values you as a friend, she will accept your decision. And you too can carry on your friendship as before.

Wow! In your position I would also be flabberghasted!
She placed the ball in your court... place it back in hers. Simply tell her that she has been, and you hope she will continue to be, a very good friend but you just don't see her in that light. Honesty is your best option. Let her know that even though you don't swing that way, that you still care for her AS A FRIEND ONLY.
Good luck to you!

Just tell her that you don't appreciate her in that way. She's a great friend, and all that jazz, but when it comes to getting intimate you're interested in the opposite sex. At that point the ball is in her court, if it damages the friendship it's her fault.

Just tell her you'd rather be friends and that you love her but aren't gay.
She will understand since you guys have bee nfriends foreva! Plus good friends are hard to come by! She is probably just coming to terms with the fact that she likes girls and maybe since she feels close to you, she feels she can tell you :)

Just tell her that you would like more than anything to continue being friends, but you are not interested in girls. I think that if she is truly your friend then she will understand how you feel, and not push you into anything you do not want or feel uncomfortable doing.

Be honest and tell her that you are not into girls but you do not want to lose her friendship. there is no reason why the two of you can't be friends simply because she'd rather be with women.

Just be honest with her. Let her know that you are not into girls, but you still want to be friends. Just tell her what is up. She should respect that.
