Why do some people enter new relationships while still having an emotional attachment to their previous mate/spouse?

i have a girl in my church,so close to me when i was in germany,but i never talk to her about marriage or friendship,but she is a virgen too,for the past 4 years i know here she is not out with any guy,she said she is a virgen,but when i was traveling she write she dream about me were we walk and do things together,but she knows me as christian brother am afriad to say can we be friend,though i dont love her due to her statur,but i onnly like her due to her virgenity and her GODLY character,pls tell me are my making mistake,?

I want him to know I really really like (maybe love) him, but "I Love You" is a very strong phrase. What can I say instead of that which means the same or close to the same thing.

I am in my mid thirtees. I've didn't have any luck in meeting a good man in the past. So I gave up on love out of frustration. Then all of a sudden 2 years a go I met a wonderful man. Now I am engaged to be married. I am head over heals in love with him. I want him to know how much he means to me. Am I too old to write love letters and notes to him? He is my first love. Am I too old to find my first love in my mid 30's? My heart pounds every time I think about him. He is on my mind everyday. I even get butterflies in my stomach sometimes even though we spend alot of time together. Do people feel this way in there 30's? Can I write him a love letter?

I have known this guy for six months, and after about 4 he told me that he loved me. I had slept over at his place (we did not have sex but shared a bed) and in the morning when his alarm went off for work, he turned over and said, "I wish I could lay here with you all day. " Then he asked me if I could see myself doing that with him and I said yes. Then he said, "Lindsay, I think I love you." It took me by surprise, so I laughed and said, "You don't." But then he got very serious and said, "No, I know I love you." So there. He said it. But somehow it's hard for me to believe it's true. He's said a million of the right things and does all the right things, and all my friends say "He's so in love with you." But the problem is, I don't think it could be possible. I need help figuring this out, because everytime I doubt his feelings he gets extremely offended and hurt. Feel free to ask questions.

To have many women? Is it possible that a mna can love ONE woman and still fantasize aabout other woman and need other woman to feel sexdually and emotionally "completed". Or is it impossible, and this man is very selfish, and will never want to bit off only what he can chew???

Believe me. . .I need help understanding. . .
I don't feel like between the "bars": and the porn, and the other woman he can't seem to get enough of I'm even "enough" and. . .
I never will be.
What tricks can I use to tell myself the man I love only uses me and will only hurt me if I continue to allow him to do so?

Shes a she, I'm a he.!! Has been going on for quite a while and have tried the conventional methods to resolve the situation( ie talking) but to no avail.The usual response is denial of any wrong doing followed by temporary resolution then back to square one.

we met each other in spain...after that we became very close friends.....i startted liking him and i used to think it was reciprocal..i waited because i thought he is shy or i make him feel not comfortable...but nothing he stays close to me but he does not want even to touch me..and he knows how much i like him...i don't know if it is relevant but it's not bout physical appearance because i know that i can get more good looking guy than him......

I am a 14 year old guy and have been friends with this girl who is my age since the first grade. In third grade, i moved and i came back in 9th grade. she was so happy and so was i. she wouldn't leave my side ever. But then, her boyfriend started to interfere with our friendship and now we don't talk to each other really. When i moved back i sort of had feelings for her, i wanted to be her boyfriend. Now, she's barely even my friend. I've been wanting to fix this, but i don't know how. Anyway, today, her and her boyfriend, well, something happened, i don't know what, but they could break up any minute now. If this happens, i would love to tell her my true feelings, i've been waiting for this to happen since i moved back. but now that we aren't really talking to each other because of her boyfriend, i'm afraid it's too late. what should i do if they break up or don't end up breaking up?

My bf and I have been together for almost 3 months and were so deeply in love, we used to fight a lot but then make it up at the same time. the problem was in me. I always act childish and he hates it i promised him so many times b4 that I'd change that but i keep messing up.
