Singles & Dating - 5 January 2007

It's been 6 months my girlfriend told me that she was lesbian and didn't want to be with me anymore even though she still loved me. I was desperately in love with her and then I decided to do something that maybe no other guy would ever do for a girl: I subjected myself to a surgery in Africa to change my sex and turn myself into a girl so she woud have no reason to leave me. Last month the whole process was completely done and I hadn't told her anything yet because I wanted to surprise her. However, when she saw me she said that all I did was for nothing because she doens't want to stay with me even after all I've done for her. She said she would never ask me to do such a thing and that I was looking like a monster for her. Now I just don't know what to do. I like girls and I don't know if I will ever find another girl who accepts me the way that I look now. The doctor told me the surgery is unreversable.

On New Year's Day, I came across my husband with his phone. Surprisingly he looked guilty. I casually asked if he had received any texts. He replied, yes, from a contact wishing him a happy new year. Something in his manner made me suspicious. I asked if I could see the text. He refused, then muttered something about a surprise. I said Christmas was over - surely he wasn't planning more surprises. He was so obviously lying that I calmly and firmly asked to see the text. He absolutely refused and tried to put the phone away. I tried to grab it from him. Following a scuffle he escaped to delete the text. Later, after a huge scene, I begged him to tell me. Eventually he said it was a text from a female colleague wishing him a happy new year and xxx. He thought I would be cross. I don't know whether to believe him. I would have been cross, but it sounds innocent enough. My instinct is that he is hiding something much bigger from me. The text is deleted. What to do?

to be friends with ex girlfriends? He has a very laid back,unique personality. We're just getting serious and he keeps in touch with basically every person he's met in his life male and female. They call him for advice, visit him with the new guy... drop in to use his computer,borrow stuff... It could be innocent,but I just don't get it.

Ok so I recently, not too recently, got out of a 7 year relationship. I have met this guy through a mutual friend and we've been talking since July. We talk on the phone, I have gone over to watch movies and we sometimes go out for drinks. We ended up spending New Years together but only b/c my cousin knows his cousin. So we just met up with eachother. Im really not looking to be in a comitted relationship right now and I dont think he is either, We have had conversations that I say i dont want a BF but he has never said that he doesnt want one just that he doesnt have one. And the other day he got mad b/c i hadnt called him but it was only a day since we last spoke... Does he "like" me or is he just into being friends? BTW all we have done is kiss.

Last night we went out and had a couple of drinks, we went to go eat after and I paid as usual. I asked him for some advice on my proposal for a promotion at work; he said some hurtful things to me. I could not hold it in and just started to cry, he screamed and called me a faker and that just made me cry even harder. He walked away and came back and I was still crying and I told him to leave and he walked home. Now he does not want nothing to do with me is it because I cried? What should I do to make it better?

I want to sleep with my ex-lover, however we are not on speaking terms. I have tried on several occasions to talk to him however he is still angry that I kicked him to the curb for lying to me one time too many. I feel that he wants me too but he ego is bruised and he does not want to appear, weak for me, but he is, and I know it. I knew that our relationship was close to ending and I loaded the boom on him. Been together for 3 months now. I let him move in the 2nd week. He works but i still make more money than him monthly. i pay the rent. I buy the food. I have even bought clothes for him. I make sure he always has something in his stomach everynight and isn't hungry, always has carfare. I swear if yall knew me yall would love me. I'd give you the shirt off my back. If i have a dollar i'd give you 65 cents and keep the 35. I do my best not to judge anyone but i know what i am, who i am and what i am worth. I'm too good of a women to be in denial. My guy is under tremendous pressure right now over in Iraq. During a conversation that we had he said the only thing he wants when he calls is to know that, 'I'm happy safe, in good health, & not stressed out.' (He said this because he doesn't want me to stress about what he's doing, so he won't tell me about what's going on over there when I asked him.)

Well in the last week, my mom had as stroke (We won't know anything until 3-6 months) And I got into a car crash and totaled my car, I'm bit bang up but okay. I don't want to stress him out but part of me feels like he should know, he thinks of my mom as his own even calls her mom. Would he be very angry/hurt/upset if I didn't tell him this stuff until he gets home in about 8 months? I’d like to wait until then, he has enough stuff to worry about. But what do you guys think?

My boyfriend hasn't been able to talk to me. At first I thought it was because he was out of town but he has come back since then and he is still not talking. I've called his cell phone, numerous times, but he never picks up. And when he does pick up he's busy and can't talk but says he'll call me back later and never does. He wasn't answering my calls yesterday, so I called him using one of his friends phones and he picked up, but once again said he had to go. He finally sent me a message online about two days ago saying:

After a bad fight about a week ago my live in fiance told me she needed space. I apologized profusely but it just seemed to make her angrier. So I temporarily moved out.

She called me on Wednesday to talk about something trivial then let me know how hurt and angry and upset she was about the fight. She told me not to call her unless I needed something. She also said the dogs missed me. And when I told her I was looking for roommate she told me not to do anything till I talked to her.

When I asked what our status together or apart she said she didnt know. She said she wasn't going to see anyone else, but she didn't care what I did. She said why should it matter what our status was, and to just do whatever my conscience tells me to do.

After hearing her out I sent her an email to her work that she wouldnt get till next day, just apologizing and letting her know things could still be good between us, but I would leave it up to her to contact me.

How will things work out?
