I'm 13, he's 12, but he's also in 8th grade. He's not popular or anything, but neither am I. I haven't asked him yet, but I will soon, when school starts up again. I'm just wondering: are there any unwritten rules of etiquette or anything I might not know about?

first of all before you go on the date no your personal limits and if he does something your not ready for just tell him and let him know what you expect out of the date. better to be honest than to do something you'll regret cause believe me i know.
