Atlanta - Only because I'm close to 30 I think waiting until 30 is best. Most of my friends who got married before we finished college are divorced or in unhappy marriages. The ones who got married after wish they waited a little longer so they could see what life was like on their own. Every year I feel more comfortable with myself, know more about what I want in a man and know more how to treat a man. I didn't know that when I was 22 or 23 or even 25. By the time I'm 30, a man will be lucky to have me because I will know how to treat him and myself.

No. 30 seems pretty old. Maybe early 20's or something. Especially from a woman's point of view. I don't want to have kids as soon as I am married, I'd like to wait a year or 2. I'd like to have at least 2 kids and them be a few years apart. Our clocks are ticking. I'm 25 and I already feel it ticking. I live in WI by the way.

im no girl but 30 is way too old --- if you have found your true love why wait???
im 54 from Australia and was married at 20 --- and i dont think the demographics will make a lot of difference --- for a lady 30 is pushing the limit if you want children

I think It should be ILLEGAL to get married before age 25. I've studied many statistics and 85% of marriages between the ages of 18-25 end in divorce.

That seems about right to me. Everyone needs some time to figure out what they really want, and by 30, most people have. As long as you don't think everyone should be married, no matter what, I agree with you. (I'm from Canada, by the way.)

No.i dont think so u should wait till 30..according to me 24-28 is the best age to marry.furthur ,having found true love wy should u wait!

u should get married when u feel u are ready and don`t think u have to wait till your 30, mayb you don`t even live 30 years and what i`m gonna die without knowing what is it like to b married. of course not!

i totally agree with you that marriage should wait til after 30 regardless of how you feel toward each other. this is just my personal opinion based on my personal experiences...but yes, i agree =)
