I met this girl on myspace and we've been talking on AIM messenger for about a week now. We have a LOT, and I mean, a LOT in common, same age, same phone, and everything, and we seem to enjoy talking to each other very much. On like the 3rd/4th day of talking on AIM (some very long conversations I might add), this past week, I asked if she would like to exchange phone #s and she said she thought it was too soon to do that just yet, I apologized, and she said it was ok. Things have been going fine since then.

I've met women from online before and when I get to the phone # transition phase, I usually have no problem. I think it's important to make this transition otherwise you'll be stuck on the computer and that's very limiting, you can't hear how the person sound. Sticking to the phone for too long could be dangerous as well, cuz there's many things you can't do over the phone (like go out to places and share fun experiences together, see things and other people together, etc.)

So I'm wondering what I should do now in terms of getting to the talking on phone phase. I don't want this to spiral into "online repitiveness/boredom". Should I just wait for her to bring it up again or should I wait like another week and ask about it? I'm not sure how I should go about this, it's been 7 days and we seem to know a lot about one another via AIM already, I don't want to lose this girl, I really like her.

My boyfriend is too overprotective of me , what can i do?
my bf is in the royal navy, and weve been together for 5 years. im 20 and hes 22. we were together for 3 years before he joined the navy. i love him so much and know i will marry him. ive seen a friend nof mine cheat on her bf who was in the navy and it devastsed him so much he lesft the navy, i could never do that to my bf. i know he trsusts me but while he is away he has his brother check on me several times a day to make sure im not with another man. his friends wont let me go out on my own with my friends, they always come. and when he comes home we have such a good time but if im wearing a skirt he tell me to put on something else cos he dosent want men looking at me. when hes home he says i have to sleep in his house to make sure im not with someone else.
when i told him he was too protective he said other men are like this. but i cant do anything on my own and tells me when he goes away he dosent like me going out with my friends.
what can i do

Guys what are some reasons as to why you stay friends or "hang-out" with an ex? My ex dumped me a year ago yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. ok, well i met this girl at work and now that her current boytoy hasnt seen her in like 2 months.. she is spending alot of time with me.. he yelled at her on the phone the other day becuase she keeps asking him when he is goign to see her.. she told me last night she is trying to make him mad so he ends it.. and i was like well if you like me like you say you do why dont you just end it and be with me.. she says "youare with me" you are my boyfriend, atleast i been doing the things a boyfirend should do. I was like how am i your boyfriend when you still have him, butshe said well do you see him here, i guess shes right, i been spending like almost everyday with her, and we been doing what normal boyfriend and girlfriends do.. we even had sex now like 8 times.. best sex ever! my partner and I split up and he signed up on a number of different singles sites at that time. when we got back together I inadvertantly found out about the singles sites...and that he had communicated with the site while living in my home...he said he didnt correspond with a person but that the service was sending him false resjponses...that is what he responded to. he said he was bored while we were apart and that these sites dont mean anything.

I'm so upset right now I never thought I would let another guy get me like this! Ok so me and my boyfriend have been dating a month now, he tells me ha loves me and I really like him alot, but today I went home sick in the morning. He thinks I might be pregnant and that would totallyu ruin both of our lifes for good. I told him I would take a test and all that but now he seems so distant. He never says I love you when we say goodbye like he used to and he just isn't acting like himself. I am so scared I don't want to lose him because I have never been so happy since I met him! Like for example, Im from dominican i know weddings celebration over here is not the same than over the states (for some Cultural or traditional reason).

My guy friend can't seem to get a date to save his life! :( All these girls he meets at bars are brutally mean to him, and he never does anything to deserve it! He's a very quiet, unoffensive person. Why do girls act so mean? Can they detect his very low self-esteem?(and their bullying isn't helping it any!)
