Should i break up with my boyfriend just because he's boring on the phone?

Many guys are not real chatty on the phone. When we talk to our friends we ask them whatever we need to know, then hang up. So when we're talking to our girlfriends on the phone it may not be easy to be different. As long as you have a good time with him in person, don't worry about the phone thing. Ask yourself this, if your boyfriend found you boring on the phone, would you hate him if he broke up with you for it? I think it's kind of a petty reason to break up with him for that, but it also depends on what your relationship consists of. If the entire relationship is talking on the phone, it's probably not working out. If the phone convos are a minor part of the relationship, then him being boring on it is not a big deal. I can't stand boring people it drives me nuts. I used to date someone like that and he was even more boring in person. I broke up with him very fast. If your boyfriend is not a phone person but when you two are together he is fine and you are having a good time, then no biggie, keep him around for a while and keep the phone conversations to a minimum.

No, unless he's boring in person as well. When I first met my now-fiance, he was totally boring on the phone, to the point where I almost didn't go out with him when he asked. I kept thinking well if he's this boring and hum drum on the phone, what's he like in person (we met a party where we really couldn't talk much so I didn't know how boring-sounding he was) but once we did go out on that first date, he was funny and charming and he literally swept me off my feet. So again, if he's not boring in person then don't worry about it. To this day I actually don't have many phone conversations with him, we either text or if we talk it's usually about something important or plans for later in the day. Who cares how he is on the phone...if you want exciting phone conversations you have your girlfriends for that!

If you talk to him in person and can actually have a conversation then no, but if when you two see each other, all you do is make out or more, then a physical relationship will lead to nothing. Your boyfriend is boring on the phone because he is probably like a lot of guys and is doing something while you are on the phone with him. Therefore like all men he can not do two things at once and puts your conversation to the side and says only "uh-huh", "yeah", and "not really." So he is probably playing vid games or watching **** or something. But you should just dump him because he has a lack of neural connections from the left side of his brain to the right.
