I would kindly scoot over the other way, cross my legs, or remove the hand from my person somehow and start talking about the kids and how cute/active/funny they are. Sometimes this is enough to make the man feel guilty and he'll get the hint (allowing one to keep the job).
Other times he might not even mean to hit on you, and he could just be doing it as a fatherly/kind gesture and whatnot (remember there are all sorts of people out there and some are more physical than others without being sexual offenders).
If he's a pervert and is into non-con, I'd let him know I'm uncomfortable and if he still did not stop, I'd get the f*** out of there. No job is worth that kind of harassment.

If you a under 18, immediately tell your parents. Just stopping babysitting for him is not enough because he will probably continue this behavior with other sitters. If your parents do nothing, then call the police. Do not sit for this person again.
If you are an adult don't sit for him any longer and if he has a wife, tell her why you will not longer sit for them.

First of all I'd quit and run. Then I'd make him explain to his wife(or girlfriend) why I quit. I'd also sue him for sexual harrasment and probably get his wife (if he has one) to divorce him. I'd also make sure that him and everyone else knows he's a pervert.
