the girl is somewhat shy. I asked her out once before, she said yes and the next day said that she answered to fast and we needed to be better friends first. so the I let her set the next date but she canceled and said that she thought that as far as we would get is friends and that she was uncomfortable last time we hung out and was not going to put her self in that position. and I don't want her to be uncomfortable but I really like her and need help on how we can spend time together (as friends or more) without her being uncomfortable.

I am in a way shocked my bf loves me. Infact he told me he love me for a long time. I dont know how to act towards him because I feel like its going to quick we have been together for a year. And sometimes when he talks to me it find me hard to believe becasue I have very low self-esteem. But he tells me he just want me to open up to him and talk but I have a hard time expressing myself. I am having a hard time just convincing myself that this maybe real. And sometimes subconscious I do things to get upset. i dont know how to stop doing those things to annoy him. I dont know how to do that and be talkative at the same time. Any tips

I broke up with my girlfriend in June and I still think about her almost every day. We dated for a few months and I broke up with her primarily because I didn't want to be in a long distance relationship. We tried to stay friends and write back and forth...personally I secretly hoped that we would eventually get back together...but at the end of the summer she sent me a letter saying it would be her last one and that she needed to move on. I thought that would be a good idea at the time, but I still can't stop thinking about her. I want to write her another letter and tell her how special she was and is to me, but I'm afraid that she might have moved on and that I might just be opening up an old wound. I really don't want to hurt her, but I'm afraid that I'll never meet a girl as special as her. How would you feel if an old boyfriend told you he still cared about you months after he broke up with you?

Guy problems?
i went out with a great guy the other night and it went great except for one thing. during the movie he reached to hold my hand but since i was so nervous, i blurted out "what are you doing?! ". he must have thought i was thinking he was going to do something disrespectful or gross, but really i knew he just wanted to hold my hand which was really sweet., so he just backed off and obviously i hurt his feelings and probably thought i was weird. after that things between us got silent and awkward. before i got out of his car i told him i really do like him and we exchanged phone numbers. well, the next day, we didn't even say hi to each other. i think he was waiting for me to say something first since i was always the first one to start a conversation. but i just didn't know what to say to him. i don't know waht to do , does he still like me i feel that he still likes me but hwy didn't he say anything? was he just shy? what is going on?

I dated my ex-boyfriend for one month, but it felt longer cuz we saw each other a lot. After one month, HE ended it saying he was 'busy'. We had a very innocent relationship, no sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. In fact, it never went past kissing. He would still say hi to me on msn even after it was over. It has been almost one year since the break up & i was really surprised when last week he called me & asked me to see hi . He planned the whole thing, (a movie), then he took me home. But I felt kinda hurt when I came home cuz I felt like it was rushed, & it seemed like he didn't wanna be there. When I got home I told him on msn that we don't need to meet up again & I basically said bye forever. He kept saying sorry & I logged out. Then a few days later I went on msn & said sorry. He was fine with it, & told me to "stay in touch" with him. My Question is: why does he wanna see now now after one year?

I was with this guy for 2 months MAYBE... I told him I needed time to myself because I am confused... I was with someone for 5 years and seemed to jump into relationships... he is now being immature and acting like he hates me... did i do something wrong or was it right for me to tell him now rather than a year from now??? For the first time in my life i am actually in a decent relationship, my boyfriend and i have been together for almost two years now and have lived together for the past year and a half, we used to rarely fight but for the past couple months we have been fighting almost all the time and it seems like every little thing that he does annoys me, i don't want to spend any time with him and i just want to be with my friends. i feel happier when i am out with my friends and not with him. even when he does come and hang out with my friends and i, i still don't want him around. it's just so weird i used to love him being around me and now i can't stand it. have i fallen out of love with him??

i dated my first bf when i was 14 and he was 15 in HS, we broke up because of stupid rumors that werent tru and insecurities... i moved away we lost touch. Now 8 yrs later i talked to him again on the comp.. he thought i didnt remember what he looked like ( he thought i didnt like him very much to begin with.. but i was just shy and 14!). So thru email i sent him this pic of him i kept on my comp that he sent in 1999! It really upsets me and makes me feel inferior. I should be enough for him. He is lucky to even have me because he is not that good-looking and kind of a jerk sometimes. but he says it is a biological need and that every guy looks at porn. but i told him what about blind people? and he said they read porn braile. Guys what are some reasons as to why you stay friends or "hang-out" with an ex? My ex dumped me a year ago yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. Then he took me home, and when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me every once in awhile. Me and my bf have been together for for a year and 4 months. We have been living together for almost a year of that time. We also have a wonderful new baby girl. Since about 2 months after he moved in he started talking about getting married (this would be his 3rd time I KNOW WHAT U R THINKING...lol) anyways he says things like "when are we getting married" and right before Chirstmas he said he was going to buy a ring and have our baby (like she could) hold the ring and a note asking me to marry her daddy but that didnt happen. I asked him why he never follows through and all he would say is "i dont know". It has me very confused. I can't figure out if he wants to get married or if he doesnt. Or if maybe he is just scared that it will be like the last 2. He says he loves me and doesnt want to live without me. And if we have a disagreement he will make the first move to make things right? So does he want to or not? what do you think? (no smartass remarks use someone else for points)
