I am in a 4 year relationship and yesterday I told my boyfriend (we live together) that I think I need some space. We have no huge problems just I feel I need some time to myself.
Well I get home today and he has a ring for me.
I didn't give him an answer because I feel like he is trying to guilt me in to changing my mind.
I don't know what to do.
He says he has had the ring for a few months and was waiting for the right time.
But he also says that no one knew about it.
I just want to die right now.

There's this girl that's very special to me. She graduated last year and I'm a senior this year. I really enjoy being around this person, but I can't bring myself to ask her straight out to go on a real date and actually start dating. I don't want one question ruin what we have now, but I'm at the point where I need to know.

I really can't tell if she's into me in that way or not. We text each other all the time, she's asked me to hang out with her and her other friend, and other little 'possible hints', and the thing is I cant differ them from just friends or actual hints. I invited her to play Tennis with me and all we managed to do was play Tennis for a couple of minutes and then sat on the court for hours talking. We also hang out all the time. I have a feeling that there is something there, but then I get the feeling that she isn't interested in an relationship right now.

Any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated. Thanks

My boyfriend and I just broke up. The problem is, I am good friends with his family. In fact, his dad is the pastor of my family's church. This will be the 5th time we've broken up in 4 years. It is just so awkward to see them. I think that they believe that I'm just playing with him and that I don't care for him and it's all my fault. But he actually broke up with me this time.

Ok so i am 13 yrs old, and i have 2 boyfriends i guess u could say .but anyways i got this boyfriend i have been going with for 3yrs and every thing was great in the being and now thing just suck ! all he does is argue and say hes gonna change and it never happens(so i kinda gave up on this relationship anyways) the second guy is very nice,handsome,funny,and a gentlemenand we've been together for 7 months! we been on 3 dates and the 1st guy none. i really like the second guy but me and him don't attend the same school so it's hard. But we do talk on the phone and attend the same church. Then again i dnt wanna break up with guy #1 because we can spend time and school and stuff. But(lolz) then again theirs guy#2 who is just wonderful. when it all comes down i only want one ,because this 2 at the same time isn't working.so who should i chose? and do you consider this cheating the fact that im young?

okay we do flirt but it is really subtle. my boyfriend sometimes compares me to a girl he almost went out with shortly before we started dating. they're friend, and he's brought her up from time to time. one time he was trying to get my attention, so he started hitting on her.

today, he told me that she asked him out. while our relationship is sort of a secret, he told her that he was with someone, but then said he thought she was beautiful and loved her. she started asking him about his parents' emotional divorce and they bonded for a few hours.

he insists that nothing is going on between them, but it sounds like she didn't really get the message that he's involved.

i feel really iffy about them talking, because she seems to still have feelings for her and he may have led her on.

should i be worried??

He's a really awsome guy, and I think i love him. But things aren't just what they used to be. It's not like there is something about him that absolutly drives me insane or anything, I really can't find anything I hate about him. I love his family and enjoy spending time with them. Their like my second family. I know that if I break up with him, I'll probley loose that. He also just spent quite a bit of money on me for christmas. My g/f is THE WORST gift-giver in the entire world. Just once I want her to surprise me with something from the heart and soul, but I know that is never going to happen. She's a sweet girl, and cares about me dearly, but when it comes to gifting, she's not so good at it.

After being disappointed last Christmas, I told her to please get me nothing. Well, she--like most others--sees Christmas as an obligation and said "well, if you got me something, then I have to get you something." I'm trying to desperately simplify my life, and thre is nothing worse than having things around my house that I'll never use. She gave me the gift receipt, but I know she'll be hurt if I return it. I guess I should keep it, but it is really frustrating to have something at your house that you'll absolutely never use. What should I do?

So my boyfriend and I are doing the whole long distance thing (3000 miles to be precise)... we are totally in love and everyday becomes harder and harder to be apart. So who decides to make the move to be with other? Does he need to move here, do I need to move there, do we just pick a spot on the map and move there??? We have known eachother for a long time and are not only a couple but are great friends... so we trust eachother a lot. My boyfriend of 3 yrs is 32 - we have a long distance relationship and see each other once a month or so. After all this while - he hasn't spoken about a future for us together.
On one occasion I caught him claiming to be single, sending his pics and chatting to a strange woman online.
More recently, he has been replying to a strange woman's messages on Orkut, on and off - apologizing for not logging into Orkut often enough, claiming to be single again and promising to meet up with her and explore a modelling contract.
I feel extremely hurt at his behaviour - am I making a big deal out of nothing? Would appreciate your opinion greatly.
