i have had such a tough 2006 and was glad it was over and thought its goin to be a new yr for me and im going to be happy and put things behind me. however yesterday i got told that my grandma has breast cancer. i dont know my mum and my gran has been my mum. we r so close i dont no how to handle it. she has the op on thurs and then we go from there to what treatment she needs and if she is going to be ok. i know i have to be positive but i dont know what id do without her. im just so upset for her as she only got over boule cancer 3 yrs ago, and now this. its just not fair. she is the best person i know and i cant help but be distrought as i feel so so so bad for her. my bf doesnt understand y im so upset and says i gota think positive and its not gna change anythin me cryin. but i cant help it.

he's a few years older than me but people continuously forget how young i am (19). people my age get angry because people always treat me like im older. i've really liked this guy for a really long time. we get along well, we have very similar likes, dislikes and thought process. when we talk, we have constant unbroken eye contact for the entire conversation (even when we aren't talking) and we talk for hours, the time goes by so quickly. when it comes to things like SMSs for example, he never replies...it makes me think that hes on purposely keeping himself at a distance. because when we are together, it feels like we're really close.
on new years (he invited me to come to his party) we were joking around and i said something a bit rude, he turns around and says be careful what you say shes only a baby refering to another girl there my age. i can't figure out how he feels about me. i thought it was an age thing, but from his comment i'm not sure.

hey guyz, i work in a gym and was working on new yrs eve coz their was a big party that nite so i was very bussy. i saw this girl she was really pretty, she come to me and ask what time the food is gonna come out and i didnt have a clue then i was like "hhhmmm, maybe in 10 minutes". she said she was really hungry.
after that she ask my name and i told her, then she went and sit with some few dudes and chicks.
everytime she come close she called my name and ask if i was doing great and i was like yeah. but my f****n maneger was watching me everytime.
then later when the party was about to end i saw her passing by then i jus went straight and ask her name and she smiled and mention it, then she said she will remember my name. she turn around and left. im not sure if i will meet her again or if she is registerd with the gym as a member. but if i met her by chance, what should i do guyz? please help guyz, i like this chick,
any ideas please share.

I have been with him for 3 years, he is not as bad as he used to be but still finds an excuse to drink. has anyone been in the same situation? Wnd when he drinks he gets so pissed he can't stand up most of the time. We argue about it the next day but there isn't really anything to argue about. I have kept a diary of when he drinks etc as he never goes without drinking for more than 4 days in a row. This is better than everyday as it used to be but I am scared of wasting my life - I am 36 and want to settle down and have kids etc -how long do i wait. WHen will I know that things have really changed?And if things get better, how will i know that the problem is not lying dormant and waiting to come back out and ruin my life. Apart from his drinking he is perfect. I always thought an alcoholic is only reformed if he never drinks again- he wont do this because he loves his drink too much, so instead, he says is controlling it instead of abstaining. Is this really possible?

I put my heart out there, all pride aside to try an open him up a little regarding the feelings we have for one another. Mine was based on an emotional and possilby irrational feelings. I think he has feelings for me but not the deepth I have for him. I feel very foolish now for being so forth coming with them. But it was something I had to do. I had to know just exactly what his feelings were. I think I took a chance that I should of not, but I told myself what did I have to lose. Should I continue with this or just let it go- wait for his answer even though something tells me it's not the one I am looking for. I am a foreigner and living in stuttgart germany. The problem going on with me is very strange. Whenever I am walking among germans (whites) or sitting in the trains , I always feel myself very angry for no reasons. And I doubt people around me can clearly notice the expression of anger on my face. For example when I see them laughing , or a girl sitting with boy busy in kissing , or ordinary people just sitting calmly etc, then I can feel my heart burning with full of anger. I do not know why? I strongly dislike this behaviour and want to get rid of this situation.

There is a lady who I find to be most interesting. She is funny and candid, sometimes sarcastic, and then very serious when necessary.

I always look for her when I am on Answers, and every once in a while I see that she is here, my heart jumps.

I have looked at her 360, and made a comment or two, but she has not replied. I feel stupid, but I can't stop thinking about her.

And no, I'm not a child. We are both in our 30's. I know I'll get over it, but for now, she is definitely my favourite!

Any of you feel like that about someone here?

i have a friend of mine named "amanda" she's my friend, we talk on the internet "messenger msn" all the time, i told her that i love her more than a friend and she says that she loves me too but she didn't say if it as more than a friend or not. i can't get her out of my mind, she's always there, i'm always thinking of her, writing about her, looking at her pictures, and telling her that i love her all the time(when i get the chance), but she always get me sad, everytime we talk something unusual has to happen, like if i ask her to send me a picture she says NO!, if i ask her to go on webcam she says NO, she doesn't even want to give me the phone # of her house to call her (but i have the # of her cellphone) but everytime i want to call her by phone she doesn't have "minutes" i think that's an excuse. she be telling me that i'm two-faced i don't know what she means by that but i know i'm not what she says i am. what should i do? i really need help with this because it's killin me.

A guy does care about this girl because he waits online for her and her text messages. she told him she likes him better now then her XBF but he doesn't know she left her BF she didn't tell him so much but latelyshe hasn't talked about him much so shouldn't he know then? He knows her XBF hit and pushed her down the stairs and hurt her legs. If he really cared about her shouldn't he do something or should he not get involved with that mess. I had been secretly attracted to a woman for over five years. I finally asked her out and she said yes. We go out for lunch and somehow from there end up at my apartment and have great sex. And then again in the morning before she leaves for work.

Keeping in mind that she did not know me and this is the first time we actually met. I had known her because some of my friends work at the same office with her. She is a very attractive woman and surprisingly, I know for a fact that she has not been out on a date for over five years.

This makes up for a difficult situation for her, as she was leaving in the morning, I could feel her anguish. I think she is worried about what I will think of her...perhaps as being easy and/or quick to jump in bed with me, self respect issues.

I want to write her an email to ease her mind and that what happened was just great.

What do I say? Please help me...you girls know what I am talking about, what do I say that she needs/wants to hear?

The guy I'm having a vey 'secret' affair with and me were spending the night together on Friday night and I got really drunk.
I was actually in a really bad mood and had some things on my mind and I ended up being quite snappy with him.
We then had a shower together and I accidentally started pressing the alarm buttons to the house instead of the lights and the bloody house alarm started going off at 3 that morning which p*ssed him off no end.
And as embarrassing as this is I may as well tell you all, we were talking about anal sex as I have never done it, and as he is alot older than me he has, and he said yes he would do it, and when it seemed the 'approprite time' he just smirked and said no.
When I was telling him about how worried I am about my little sister he just replied "do you not think i ave problems of my own?" as his little children have just gone on holiday with their mum.
Next morning he said "i became a scary bird" is he exaggerating? He's blanking me now. Help.

how I felt about the breakup only 2 days afterwards. He started arguing with me, but before that told me that he said there was nothing wrong with us going out but he just didnt want to date anymore. All of the sudden, he started being mean to me and saying that he didnt get the point of a deep connection with me and would talk to me when he is not getting mad at me.
