How do you know if a older guy likes you if he isnt a perv or anything nasty but really sweet and kind and shy? He is a manager in a department at my work so i know that a manager cant really show interest at work all tho he gave me a hug the other day.......

This will probably not matter to you because f e e l i n g s are so powerful but, workplace romances are notoriously fraught with problems. Trying to keep the intimacies of a relationship seperate are stressful and distracting. I'm not saying it never works but, first think about how important your job is to you before you infuse it with romance.

You are going to need to sit down and talk to him.
As you two work together you will need to do this some where else other then your work place.
