i'm never going to see him again, this thing happened 3 1/2 years ago, and i am still so, so angry. i haven't been able to trust or really love a guy since. i think the only way to get the demon off my back is to forgive, but i need some tips i guess. (rape at a party)

it's not like i'll ever see him again, he moved out of state... the anger and panic is punishing ME, not HIM. i've got to forgive him so that I can feel better, i don't give a s**t about HIM.

It's in your past. This is your future. You are moving on to greater and better things. Release the hate and guilt. Once you have done this it will make you a better person. Eventually one day you will be able to help someone in the same scenario. Yeah, it might reappear like Kodak memories but refuse to let it drown you. Don't let him have a peace of you. Know in your mind he had to be pretty discussing and pathetic to rape you. And sooner, rather than later it will catch up to him. Forgiving will make you stronger, and his grasp on you weaker. Don't continue to be the victim but a survivor. You control your destiny.

That's a tall order to ask yourself. But if that is the only way to go on with your life then by all means to it. Rape is very traumatic. Was he arrested for doing this to you? It would take a big hearted person to be able to forgive on this and you seem like you want to. If you know his address send him a card with a message of forgiveness and go on with your life. I admire your guts for wanting to forgive but not sure I could. But everyone has to go on and if this means your forgiveness then do it. Good luck to you.

It may take forever to forgive this guy something like that is pretty much unforgiveable all you can do is give ittime try to think of other things maybe get away from the city it happend in find some friends and maybe a boyfriend it should help you forget

Have you confronted him about it at any time afterwards?Probably not.Not all guys are that SORRY of an uncaring ******.try calling a rape crisis hotline and talk to someone about it.Their supposed to be trained to help women(girls)to cope with and put it behind them as time passes.There's no excuse for what he's done to you,mentally and physically.I'll be PRAYING for your healing and your being able to put it behind you and have a great life with a great and careing,loving,understanding guy.Good Luck.

i can,t say how it Herta you so bad but you must help your self the guy was a ***, he had to get it that way, loser, move on and you are the big er person, don,t let him miss up your life, it,s time to let go . live once more. and yes love, be happy, some good guy may love you give love a try, and you know you toke the first step,,,. how go get them girl,,

I don't know if I could ever forgive either...but I could make peace with myself.....knowing that it was not my fault and that he is a loser......perhaps that would work for you...good luck
