he's a few years older than me but people continuously forget how young i am (19). people my age get angry because people always treat me like im older. i've really liked this guy for a really long time. we get along well, we have very similar likes, dislikes and thought process. when we talk, we have constant unbroken eye contact for the entire conversation (even when we aren't talking) and we talk for hours, the time goes by so quickly. when it comes to things like SMSs for example, he never replies...it makes me think that hes on purposely keeping himself at a distance. because when we are together, it feels like we're really close.
on new years (he invited me to come to his party) we were joking around and i said something a bit rude, he turns around and says be careful what you say shes only a baby refering to another girl there my age. i can't figure out how he feels about me. i thought it was an age thing, but from his comment i'm not sure.

get the info from him. ask him when u r talkin u him, like just slip into da conversation. or just get a friend 2 do it.

I think you need to be straight with him. Invite him out for coffee and just have a heart to heart. If you can talk for hours then it is the only way you will know how he really feels about you. Maybe the age thing is a problem when he thinks about it but when he is with you he forgets about it. What is the worst that can happen?

I don't know...but to make that comment at all shows that perhaps he's caught up in age as something...
