my boyfriend sometimes compares me to a girl he almost went out with shortly before we started dating. they're friend, and he's brought her up from time to time. one time he was trying to get my attention, so he started hitting on her.

today, he told me that she asked him out. while our relationship is sort of a secret, he told her that he was with someone, but then said he thought she was beautiful and loved her. she started asking him about his parents' emotional divorce and they bonded for a few hours.

he insists that nothing is going on between them, but it sounds like she didn't really get the message that he's involved.

i feel really iffy about them talking, because she seems to still have feelings for her and he may have led her on.

should i be worried??

when he said he loved her, im sure he meant as a friend, because thats the type of person he is. its just whether or not she realized that that makes me worry.

Yes, go with your gut. This guy doesn't know what he wants. If he's really into you, he'd ditch the other girl and get with you...first and foremost! If you're his girlfriend, you should be a priority and if this is someone you're even considering marriage with in the future, you should be a priority from the get-go or expect to have problems later.

god yes! he sounds like a total jerk! omg if a guy did that to me i would dump him straight away, it sounds like he is lying straight to ur face about everything if he did not have feelings with this "friend" he would say i do not like u i am dating someone else and i love her or like her a lot and i do not have any feelings for u but no he said he loved her so this is what i think you should do....(DUMP HIM!!!) REALLY! trust me you can do so much better than him......good luck i hope you make the right choice

ok boyfriend: is not showing you enough respect. he might still have feelings for her, but if your confident that he isnt then dont worry about that. the girl: means danger. she could do anything so that she can get with him. have a serious talk with your boyfriend. if he values the relationship, he should keep his distance from that girl. not give her the cold shoulder but definately not get so close to her. dont get insecure cus that could send him running to her. simply explain your position but trust him to do whats right, if not, the relationship might be doomed.

Sounds like your boyfriend is a creep. Why is your relationship secret? That is a red flag right there.

If he is so interested in this other girl, let him have her. You deserve someone who is only interested in you.

Don't be worried, be gone. Why waste your time with someone who isn't as committed to the relationship as you are? He's not going to be able to do anything to make your worries go away.

Yes, if he is going to have a relationship with you, then he would have bonded with you.

if she knows that he is in a realationship and she doesnt care then you should be worried, but
you should also trust your BF if he says that there is nothing going on
