there's this guy, we've been chatting for a while. He seem to be nice, honest and witty however fresh in some ways. On the course of the conversation, i realized that i have this longingness for him, is this possible?

Yes, but only because you haven't met him yet. Some girls like when a guy is straight out and they speak their mind. It can also be that because you guy's don't know each other you guy's allow to speak to each other in ways where you just jump into conclusions and share your fantasy's with each other. But, it does not mean that it may ever happen. You guy may never every meet each other. Typing takes to long , phone calls don't always work, and letters is just papers. Really he could just be a freak. I mean don't you watch the news. It happens every day to women and children (Boys & girls). Don't get cought on to things like this. It's better datting your neighborhood neighbor that has a crush on you than some pervert on cybortron pills.

It is possible because you have fantasies of him right now. Until you know him in person, it will make a lot of difference. It won't be so good as you are thinking right now. It is more dangerous to know someone in cyberspace. Some may be good guy, but also a lot of jerk there. Be careful to make your decision. Better have your girl friend with you when the time you go out with him, your girl friend can help you to judge.

In the first place it is dangerous. How do you know he is really who he claims to be. You may have a longingness for him, which is only a bunch of words on cyperspace. Is there some reason why you do not get out and meet real people, have real one on one connection, real dates and real relationship. You need to be careful about that, never know what your getting yourself into. I am sure your smart enough to know that. I hope. I thnk your just adicted to the chat room person. Try something outside of cyberspace before you decide.

My sister's boyfriend's mom and stepfather met online. They've been married for quite a long time and have a child together and they're very happy. In short, it can happen. Be careful, though, and always bring a friend with you and go to a really public place if and when you decide to meet this guy in person.

Yes, it most certainly is possible to fall in love with somebody over the net... I met my husband in myspace.com of all places. I signed up mostly just to get my friends off my back cause they kept tellin me to join and one day he was just searching through his school and my school (different towns) and he came across my photo and thought I was cute... so he messaged me... we've been together ever since. After a week of talkin online, we decided to meet and met every friday after.
That's not to say that everybody has a happy ending with somebody they've met online but it can work out. I have a friend who's father actually sponsered a Philipean woman to come to Canada and he married her (my friends mother), but I have had my share of romances online and have met them and it simply didn't work out for one reason or another.

Yes it is. I'm going threw the same right now. But you will not know if its truly love until you meet. He could be a different person when you do. And keep in mind that if you do meet, make it a public affair. He maybe a crazy. You never know. I say go for it honey! Do what your heart wants, you will always wonder what if.........

yeah you can have all the lovely dovey chats but do you also share more than just feelings?
i mean come on, do you both show pictures of each other and do you know if he is real person, and not no fake?

Fall in love? Not so sure about that... but it is normal to talk with someone online and think they're super awesome. I wouldn't jump in head first though. Even getting to know someone online can be faulty... just like the movie HARD CANDY. People can be very deceiving.

Very possible....I am now married to a guy that I met online in a yahoo chatroom. We been together for almost 4 yrs now. Just be really careful though because there are alot of weirdo's out there
