Singles & Dating - 1 January 2007

Back in highschool..i used to be the same as i'm now( no i'm 27). I would just sit al alone in the floor at lunch period and people would pass by.....but one time i got approached by a bunch of girls and they talked to me. I really dont' know why though, they even seemed like they wanted to be friends. it was quite embarrasing^^ i got red . I sat in the same place always and they came and talked to me a few days.

Then another time, a guy came and talked to me.
And i never even approached anyone, i just sat there. But you see, of the hundreds of highschool students that passed, only 2 occasions did people approach me. The question is what made them approach me? .. i'm just a shy guy and i would just be sitting down studying. i guess it was pity.

Now at 27 , i'm kind of the same except i don't really stay sitted in a crowded place, but if i did, wuld someone approach me eventually?

ok so guyz ive had alot of boyfriends before && i never told my parents when i did && i feel REALLY REALLY REALLY guilty that i never did so idk if i should tell them that ive had bfs before???the only reason i didnt when i was dating them was bcuz i was scared that they would flip out.&& if i tell them now they will not trust me ever again bcuz i didnt tell them b4!& i really dont want 2 loose their trust!!!!!!!!!!!& im afraid that if i tell them ive had bfs b4 they will b mad @ me!!!!i totally wish i never had a bf b4!!!!!!!!!!so tell me what i should do pleassssssssssse!!!!!!!!!!!!

im in a long distance realsionship with sumone, and his family has never met me. but they keep talking trash about me. like, his mom says that im too controlling and that i have him on a leash..but she dont know ANYTHING about me..and thats totally not true. and then his borther is saying how i must have a personality defect if i cant get a guy near me. i totally can, i just love the guy im with so i choose not to. Say an american girl in her 20's. i'm 27, american but i have a limited vocab and i make all kinds of mistakes because I was shy since i was 5 and even now i am the same way, never had friends, and don't have much practice talking. I'm slow too.

Everytime i see Americans in the bus or downtown or anywhere, they speak so fast and are so fluent when talkking to eachother. I dont' think they would ever accept me. So is it safe to say a girl who is like that, would never like a guy such as myself SOLELY because i dont' speak like her?

My girlfriend and i have some real childish arguments, the latest being a picture frame on the wall. Its one of those big frames where you can put 10 photos in the back of it and show them off all in one picture. Well she wants it to be 10 photos of her missionary work she done in africa some years back, i am a lover of dogs and i think that some pics of doggys would look much nicer. She wont compromise and have 5 of each so i told her NO! its doggy or nothing am i being unfair?

she knows to much about guys and ,well, you know, "it". she jst brings up weird conversations about these things too. one day my best friend wanted to tell me some thing about that kind of topic and my sister just had to know (meaning she was nosey) then when she hears what my friend is telling me she goes crazy. asking me all kinds of questions about males and "it". one day she made me explain what a condom is and how to use it. i didnt know how to explain it to my LITTLE sister.

What's the best things to do to flirt with a guy? I know him well and he hasn't got a girlfriend. He's a friend but i really like him. He's really nice to me and we mess about etc but nothing physical, just like mates. What can i do to flirt with him that will get him to realize my feelings, nothing too extreme!! Here's the thing: Well I like this kid.. he doesn't go to my school; he's a grade older, but he's in the same district as me. I know him because he's my uncles bestfriends son, &in the summer my uncle goes camping &his bestfriend goes &brings his family too.. anyway I fell for him in the summer. The thing is I've barely talked to him. There's just something about him I fell for, &I still months later don't know what it is... anyway; he knew that I liked him but he's REALLY shy.. &I don't know after summer ended I just felt like I needed to get somewhere with him and not throw away my feelings. My sister goes to his school &gave him a note that told him I like him. It said to reply no matter what the answer is b/c I didn't know about it.. &he didn't. I can't move on.. Why didn't he reply? Before I had my sister give him the note, I found out he told my friend he liked me. I can't get over him; there's just something about him and I CAN'T move on.. please help me &give me your opinion.

i like this girl. and she told me one day i looked cute and her friend said i had a cute smile and they both said they saw my myspace pictures and they were like "DAMN". i always think it is so improper to say it is "love" at first sight..call it attraction or infatuation....
why call it love when love is really you having committed your life to that person (no not ownership--dont get me wrong...i mean in a subtle way)
so why devalue (if thats even a word) the meaning of love? can you truly commit yourself to a person just by seeing their face once? ok not to be literal then just seeing them...appearance is one of the insignificant factors---a factor? yes it is but not as significant as personality. and from first sight what insight have you on personality???
