Here's the thing: Well I like this kid.. he doesn't go to my school; he's a grade older, but he's in the same district as me. I know him because he's my uncles bestfriends son, &in the summer my uncle goes camping &his bestfriend goes &brings his family too.. anyway I fell for him in the summer. The thing is I've barely talked to him. There's just something about him I fell for, &I still months later don't know what it is... anyway; he knew that I liked him but he's REALLY shy.. &I don't know after summer ended I just felt like I needed to get somewhere with him and not throw away my feelings. My sister goes to his school &gave him a note that told him I like him. It said to reply no matter what the answer is b/c I didn't know about it.. &he didn't. I can't move on.. Why didn't he reply? Before I had my sister give him the note, I found out he told my friend he liked me. I can't get over him; there's just something about him and I CAN'T move on.. please help me &give me your opinion.

For people telling me to call him/ask him out: wouldn't it be weird if some girl you knew liked you just started calling you? or ASKED you out when you don't even know her? obsessive?

hes probably just really really shy. Um...BIG RED FLAG - one thing ive learned from prior experience. guys despise entourages, especially ones with girls, girls girls! dont go through your friend or your sister or anything, talk to him directly. guys hate it when girls are constantly saying, "my friend likes you and she said to tell you so tell me what you think of her" or things along those lines. theyre confused and irritated and might lose interest! talk to him directly, talk to him yourself.
and about the moving on thing - i know wat you mean by the whole "I CANT move on" and "theres just SOMETHING about him". honestly, the truth is, you definitely can. you need to get rid of everything, physical/mental or tangible/intangible that reminds you of him. this doesnt just go for that guy, it goes for every other guy you might meet in the future. seriously, dont ever pine or wait b/c you could be out there enjoying yourself and having guys pine OVER YOU!

why don't you go back and forth on the computer. Then you'll be talking but not talking. You'll learn more about each other and you will probably be more comfortable cause it's not face to face. If it goes farther then it does. Give you friends your e-mail address and have them give it to him. Or better yet just set one up for him to use. Then you will know when he writes back. Ask around if anybody knows his e-mail add. Maybe you could write to him first and see what happens. It doesn't sound like he'd be mad. Maybe he just doesn't know what to say so he didn't write back. Guys are like that.

Thats sounds like not a very fun crush. I think giving notes is totally imature and weak, they are allways so impresonal. I sugest you never do that agian. As for this guy, is there any way you guys can get to know eachother better??
There isnt anything fun about having a crush that you cant even see everyso often.

just go up to him and ask him out if he is shy. otherwise you might lose him and regret it for the rest of your life. there will always be a what if.
