last night, i was online and i was talking to this guy from my school. he asked me if i'd be online after midnight because he was going to his neighbors and wanted to talk to me after. i said yes but i ended up not coming back on. it was 1 and i was about to go upstairs to bed when my cell phone rang. it was him. (and it's a mystery to me how he got the number) he was heading home and he wanted to wish me a happy new year because i told him the rest of my family was going to be asleep.
does he like me?

Well, this should help :)
One of the easiest ways to know if a guy likes you is if he gives you quick glances and stares at you every so often. Watch him and if he looks at you quite often from time to time, HE LIKES YOU!
If you are hanging out with a guy you usually don't hang out with and that could be a possible boyfriend, the guy that likes you will become interested and will stare at you and the guy you are hanging out with. If he is the bold type he might try to become involved with the two of you which definitely means he likes you!!!
If he talks to your friends a lot he probably likes you.
If he tries to be near you and suddenly takes an interest in things you like, he likes you.
If he talks to you and acknowledges you in some way, this is a sure sign he likes you!
If he tries to make you laugh or says stuff sarcastically that he thinks is funny, again he most likely likes you.
Lastly, if he is nervous around you, he likes you.

He probably got the number from one of your girlfriends or something...and yes, honey, he likes you! If he went through all of that trouble to get your phone number (Which i'm assuming he did) then isn't it all just so clear? And last night when he asked you stay on...didn't it hit you then???!!!!! You go girl, i hope that him liking you is a good thing, at least it's flattery no matter what, but make sure you let him know how YOU feel. Don't just watch him fall in love with you and then his love start to dinimish! Make sure he knows if you like him, or if you like him just as a friend. Don't lead him on and be sure to give him tons of hints if you KNOW that you're sure about him. He's done his research, obviously, now it's time to do yours! Have fun playing detective!

I'm and old guy with teen age daughters and lots of life experience. YES, he likes you. If you think about it, he had to be thinking about you quite a bit to search out someone with your cell number and then remember to call you to with you a happy new year. Sound like he just finally worked up the nerve to start talking to you to see if you like him ... he's probably nervous when he talks to you. Good luck. ;)

well he seems realy nice and i am pretty sure he likes you because only a person how likes you would call you al 1 am in the morning to talk to you or tell you happy new year
