Face to face. None of this IM or over the phone busness, that's cowardly. It will make you seem like less of a person in his eyes and anyone he associates with if you don't do it in person. Use a compliment sandwich.
It has been really great going out it you I appreciate the way you have treated me.
But you have smelly dog farts.
If you don't want to that is cool, but I would still enjoy your friendship.

I don't know how old you are...but I'm gonna guess you around 13. So what you should say is you liked hanging out with him, but you're better as friends. The relationship shouldn't be that serious so he should be OK with it.

well you have to figure out why you want to breakup with him after that tell him that you want to break up with him then tell him y and try not to sassy it up cause that just makes it worse but dont be really blunt either

be nice about it. Tell him he's a nice guy, but that you are just not feeling a connection anymore, and it's best if you stop seeing each other.
