We been dating for two years. Since X-mas and including last night, I have been on a mission to show my girlfriend how much I love her and how much she means to me. I showered her with special gifts from the heart, I told her about my past before I met her (I did pornos during the summers while in Unversity to pay for my education). Then while laying in bed cuddling after having sex she asked me to marry her and after I stuttered because I was caught of gaurd she brushed it off as if she didn't mean it and we proceeded to more sex. Does this mean she wants to get married? Or was she just caught in the heat of the moment. She never even hinted about marriage till last night. What should be my next step?

He called my friend at 9.45pm to wake her up because she is working night shift. He had a feeling on her and he told me so. He promised me he will love me 100% and she is just a friend now. We have been together for 3 years now. At two years she wasn't sure, now it has been three, and she has decided she wants to see other people, and for me to do the same. Since I'm young, I have an attraction to older guys. I rember at 18 liking much older guys than I, like in the 30-40...I never questionned myself until now.. My dad was always present for me and stuff, so its not the typical " she's trying to find her dad thing"... have any suggestions why I like older guy? Our relationship wasnt one of those stupid shallow high school relationships, we really really cared about eachother and we've gone through SO much together. I don't understand why she wants a break. We have loved eachother for a very long time, 4 years we've been dating, hell we liked eachother since grade 5 and we are both now 18. I know you're going to say that we are young but that is not it at all, we had something very special, we would do anything for eachother. We've travelled together, we have all the memories in the world together. We continually told eachother that we love eachother and that we were right for eachother. She had told me alot off stuff about herself that she hadn't told anyone else, and we could openly share our feelings. She means more to me than anything else, I have even felt suicidal sometimes and it just happened yesterday. I am a complete utter wreck, I cannot function properly with out her by my side. So what I don't understand is why she wants this?

So, I'm 22, male, college student....I've been talking and hanging with this girl the past two weeks and we've been texting each other, flirting, talking for hours---so we went on a first date last night at the beach. Went to a club, got some drinks, walked around some boating area dock, then went to the beach, sat by a few abandoned bonfires, trying to keep them "alive" by throwing sticks, cardboard in there. We were joking talking, flirting, good conversation. It was fun. But then we got to the intimate part. We were laying down and we started kissing (midnight). She loved it and we cuddled afterwards and went in her car and cuddled some more. But me...everything was great until the kissing...I even liked the cuddling. I just didn't feel any chemistry, but I enjoyed everything else. In my mind, I tended to list all the things wrong...didn't feel right, didn't get into it, etc.
So this is the first girl I've been on a date with that I was very aware could lead to actual dating, etc,

How would you react if a guy you liked kept asking you to hang out at his house at night instead of out of a normal date ?

We used to know each other briefly years ago. He looked me up online recently.

I politely refused his requests to just drop by his house at night.

He told me repeatedly how much he liked me but now that I let him know that he is welcome to ask me out on a proper date he has disappeared.

I told him that I won't compromise my dating principles by dropping by his house at night.
I said he should understands since his personal ad says how he wants an 'emotionally available" relationship too.

So now after I explained my position he is ignoring me or signs off if I IM him. Im so embarassed and glum.

I guess Im annoyed because this guy knows Im going thru the most stressful time in my whole life (new move, new job, mother and grandmother both recently critically ill/injured)

And it hurts to add that this guy who is looking for the woman of his dreams just wanted me as a booty call.

I suppose I should be happy I didnt fall for his gamesplaying.

How big a jerk is he ? Should I pretend he was figment of my imagination ? I wish I could wipe him out of my memory like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind !
