I've tried match. Once you get on it is impossible to get off unless your profile is hidden prior to expiration. Thus, there are many "old" profiles on match.
I've had some interesting dating experiences on chemistry.com. It gets you to personalized and still confidential emails and pertinent questions to help decide if there is any commonality. I've heard e-harmony.com is more in depth for a more accurate match. I am still looking. Good luck!
