Since I'm young, I have an attraction to older guys. I rember at 18 liking much older guys than I, like in the 30-40...I never questionned myself until now.. My dad was always present for me and stuff, so its not the typical " she's trying to find her dad thing"... have any suggestions why I like older guy? Even now, at 24 , I look at men in their 40.....

You ask a great question Clara, and it may be just "your personal preference" to like older men. Nothing wrong with a relationship where both parties are over 18 (preferably 21) and neither party is being taken advantage of.
But to you, this preference is natural, or maybe you think older men are less likely to do or say stupid stuff. Younger guys can be really immature sometimes. In fact, my perception of you is that you may act and dress much more maturely than your peers.
If you really want to pursue it, sit down with mom & dad and have a great discussion about this. They will surely listen and provide another source of information.
I'm 62 and my wife is 29, and she tells me I just don't look and act 62, and that she doesn't "see" me as being older. So all I can say is that age is a number that measures time since partum, not a guage of maturity, intelligence, nor does it take into account mental and emotional compatibility, which to me are much more important in building and establishing a relationship that could lead to marriage.

I feel the same way. I am 16 and i always find older guys like 22 or 23 years old more attractive then the younger guys

Maybe u like more mature men and there is nothing wrong with that. As long as u like us older men for the right reasons, you will meet the right one eventually but be sure that he is a real gentleman . The first clue to a real gentleman is if he respects himself, second clue is if if he is caring for people he barely knows(watch how he treats people he has nothing to gain from by treating them well. 3rd clue is how he respects you as a human being and as a woman. Look at his ability to love

Older guys don't act goofy. I was always attracted to older guys until I met my husband which is the same age as me and he is boring. Stick with what feels right. I dated a 42 year old man when I was 17.

There's nothing wrong with being attracted to older men, and nothing weird about it. People are attracted by different sizes, colours, ages, cultures....you name it.
Perhaps your experiences have been with older men who treat you well and act like adults, but with younger men who act like - well, children. There are plenty of mature younger men and older men who act like children; I'm not trying to generalise, but to speak to your possible experience.
Is this something that you think is a problem? If not, don't worry about analyzing it.

Nothing wrong with that. Older guys..uh meaning older than me..(34)..can provide the stablility and maturity most women look for in men anyway. It doesnt mean your looking for your "dad" or a father figure, just means you dont want to put up with a silly or immature man. Do you and good luck..

This is OK,but you wanna make sure they are in shape and you like to see them with their clothes off. If not you will have to keep moving around.Maybe when you get older you will start to like guys younger than you.When you get 40 ,trust me you will not like older guys.

its a maturity and intelligence thing. above-average women look for men who match their maturity/intelligence levels, which would most likely be found in men much older than them. im the same way, for as long as i can remember ive always been attracted to much older men. men my own age seem so childish.

maybe you like their mature outlook,experience,and their love making..my best friend is younger,she told me she also likes the security and how i treat her...dont be afraid if hes a good guy enjoy him,forget about what others think.most the time their jealous of a good relationship or friendship..good luck us older guys are ok...
