why wont he ask me to be his girlfriend?? This guy and i have been going out for about two months and a half and he still hasnt asked me to be his girlfriend! what is he waiting for?? when we go out its as if we already were boyfriend and girlfriend, we hold hands and kiss and everything but we still dont have the title. what is he waiting for??

well Mari I have been married for 4 years and been with my wife for 6, I don't believe I have ever acutely asked her to be my girl friend I have only asked her to be my wife. He probably just assumed that your relationship has progressed to that and there is no reason to ask you to be his girlfriend when he thinks you already are.
He is not waiting for any thing. If you are Sure about your relationship ask him, I'm Sure he will tell you the same thing

Try this: next time you run into someone you know that he doesn't when you're with him, introduce him by saying, oh, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, whatever-his-hame-is... That should solve the question.
Seems to me you are bf and gf... do you really need "The Title".... you've already got the part...
