Singles & Dating - 1 January 2007

Ok, there is this guy that I work with that is attracted to me as I am to him. The timing is wrong for us to be together right now, though, so we haven't acted on anything. What I'm wondering is how hard is it for him to be around me everyday? For me, just the sight of him sends my heart beating and if he looks at me and smiles I just melt. He's always very nice to me but every few days he'll ask what I'm doing for the weekend, do I have a boyfriend, lightly touch me in passing, etc. We've always been professional with one another and haven't taken this desire anwhere but sometimes I think about him and what could be...Mentally how do men deal with seeing a woman they are attracted to but can't have? Is it easy to block the woman from their thoughts? Do men think about what could be type situations as well?

Do women know when they are saying crazy things when they do it? Or does it just happen? This girl I thought I was talking to totally flipped out last night... Like went PSYCHO at a new years eve party I took her too. She ruined my whole night, and I had to appologize to the host of the party for bringing that type of drama to his party... Its like her idea of our relationship, and what had happend between us was at least 65% made up... I mean, somethings she said happend, but the other half was made up... I mean, there is no way a sane person could just make this stuff up?? I consider myself a reasonable person, 25 years old, college graduate, But my X girlfriend would flip out when we would get in fights too.... And I would be like, are you from earth?? Or are you just making stuff up to argue about?? Are most women seriously crazy sometimes??? Every day I realize I will never understand anything about women.. lol (dont take this post the wrong way, I just think its funny)

Hi. I am twenty five years old and there is man that Is thirty three years and I believe that he is attracted to me. I catch him staring at me and there are times when he seems to go out of his way to get my attention. I dont mind that he does this,becasue I am attracted to him as well. But there is a catch.. He is already has a girlfreind and they live toghter. I know that there is nothing that I can do about that,and he has never said anything that would make me think that he wants to take it beyond casually flirtation,are interactions are innocent (and they will continue to be that) but yet I cant stop thinking about him.Am i crazy to feel this way? I try to not interact with him,but it is difficult to because Of the complicated social network we are in,and he is difficult to ignore because he flirts alot. (and by the way is joking around flritng?) But my question is how do I stop thinking about him,and are my instinct right in telling me that he is attracted to me?

my ex-gf and I broke it's been a month now ...although, we managed to stay friends, but I still have feelings for her ...she is now with another guy, she seems to like him and doesn't want me back anymore ...but she still talk to me sometimes, on a friendship basis ...I don't know sometimes what to do ...should I let her go for real ? or try my best and everything possible to draw her back to me again ? but, yet, I am not sure, if she still love me, or waiting a reaction from me to show her now, how much I love her and how much I want to be with her now ...maybe, she 's waiting for that ..but, on the other side, I am not sure, if she wants to do that, or just want me out, because she told me she is happier now with her new guy ...!! what are your advice on that ?

Okay, my boyfriends birthday is on the 7th of January. I got him some stuff already but we will be going out for 3 months on his birthday and i was wondering if it would be cute or weird for me to give him my class ring for his b-day also!! Okay well here goes:

Me and this girl have been together for quite some time now. I've already told her I really love her (I mean I know she's THE one) but I found out she has a boyfriend. Apparently they've been together for 2 years already and they're still together.

Would it be wrong if I wanted to make her love me instead of him?
Must I wait for them to break up (and I don't think thats gonna happen)?

i just asked this quastion but i didnt really expalin what the complications are... you girls always cry about guys being *** holes and that we dont do anything sweet or romantic we never show our feelings... and than when i guy does these things you never go for him you always go back to the *** hole that keeps hurting you... you just want the nice sensitive guy as your friend so you can tell him all about you *** holes and cry on his shoulder and call him in the middle of the night when he has work the next day too tell him how your *** hole was making out with some slut at a party that you went to...

This is a serious question people, so don't delete it! I'm not asking anything that needs to be censored.

So, did you ever really give this any thought? Take a minute and just ponder on that question...
Men can wear their swimsuits and just walk around topless on TV or at the beach, or other suitable places, but women can't. Why, I ask? Just to make clear, I'm definently not a nudist or anything, but it's just one of those interesting concepts in society, which I think about. Just because a woman's breasts are not flat like a man's breasts, then it should be covered up? And when they censor things on TV, it's usally just the woman's nipples that are covered up! WHYYY??? It just makes no sense! It's the same color and texture as a man's nipple. What's the big deal people?

I'm not trying to change things. I'm just trying to understand it and see what other people think!

and although im not that keen on men in lycra ,he is a serious hotty and ive liked him for a long time and he has told me he has wanted me for a long time too.He has suggested we run away together next week.Since his wife had the triplets she has gained alot of excess baggage around her thighs and he said she doesnt make an effort anymore.So the way i see it, if she cant be bothered i may aswell take advantage.But if we run away together will i have to wear lycra too?

Guys, why do you sometimes still wanna hang out with some of your ex-girlfriends. My ex dumped me one year ago yet last week he called me and saw a movie together. Then at the end of the night he said that he 'wants to see me every once in awhile' when I asked him why he wanted to see me. Why now, after one year? By the way when we were dating we never had sex, cuz he knew I wanna save it for marriage. Was this a pity date cuz he felt bad for dumping me?
OR does he think I'm gonna sleep with him? He knows my strict views on premarital sex so I don't think this could be it, but I could be wrong.

I have been seeing this girl that I really like. I know she likes me but I think I like her way more. I was reading a book and it says that women don't like clingy guys because it shows insecurity. Therefore, guys should be cocky and only show slight interest. Ex, not calling too much, not complimenting her, not paying for everything, etc.

I've been trying this and it is suppose to make the girl crazy over you. But to me, this has little effect.

So do you girls like overly attentive guys or cocky, don't give a crap about her guys?

i have a bad habbit of letting myself get frustrated and then i eventually blurt it out, this happened last night, and i told my b/f to stop lecturing me and to shut up infront of his friends. i never mean it and i feel really awful. he was just trying to help, and when other people say it its fine but when he does i feel like a silly little girl who doesnt know anything so i blurt out stupid things. he says he feels he has no self respect for letting me talk to him like that. i really dont mean it . any advice

its new years eve. we have to stay in this year. told him we would make the most of it - good food, a few drinks, have a laugh etc etc.... planned it for a while, bought nice food etc etc...

he's taken the mickey out of me for it....

when it came to new years eve, even though we live together i didnt really see him all day - and he didnt really talk to me either- even went food shopping- something which he hasnt done in months....

after i put my daughter to bed i expected a bit of us time.

how wrong was i!!!! i have felt like things havent been right for a while and tried to tell him how i felt. he listened to what i had to say then went off to watch a dvd without me. came back down ( we didnt have food or drink) at around 11.30 then went back out of the room again to go on the pc.

i didnt really feel it was my place to say "come on, its new year in 5 mins" its not like he didnt know what day it was.

big ben chimed away, he came in after the effect. i said .......
