i have a bad habbit of letting myself get frustrated and then i eventually blurt it out, this happened last night, and i told my b/f to stop lecturing me and to shut up infront of his friends. i never mean it and i feel really awful. he was just trying to help, and when other people say it its fine but when he does i feel like a silly little girl who doesnt know anything so i blurt out stupid things. he says he feels he has no self respect for letting me talk to him like that. i really dont mean it . any advice

It 's never good to let things build up it seems you take a lot then when you can't take anymore you fire at will. you need to talk privately with you b/f and let him know how you feel don't blow on him in front of people it only makes you seem like a B*%$# and him look like prince charming for putting up with your crap.
Best Wishes.

well if u really love him and he really loves u then just explain wot u just told us here__

if he makes u feel like a silly little girl, then maybe theres something wrong, talk about this, saying you feel very uncomfortable__

is there a reason why he even needs to LECTURE u? he's not ur dad is he?__

if u r the problem then think about ur approach, and think why he needs to lecture u, maybe he has a very good reason to do so, and wants u to fix urself, he is trying to help as your friends say, maybe he is?

take care x

happy new year

I wouldn't argue with the ex in front of friends, family, anywhere in public. I hated seeing others doing it and it is embarrassing. I would bite my tongue, and wait for a private moment to discuss it. Noone wants to hear all the crap... really. If it makes you feel silly, wait for a private moment. : ) SOMETIMES it is so very difficult to do! I think it's worth it though.
Good luck and much happiness for you two! : )

the damage is done. the best you can do is say sorry and hope he forgives you.

as for your blurting problem, that's something that in time you'll learn not to do. Self control's a b*itch to learn.

Rome was built one brick at a time, try and think of it like that, a little bit at a time, lay of the booze too if it doesn't agree with you

I THINK YOU NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT TO HIM MORE! OR YOU WOULDNT BE BLURTING OUT AS YOU DID AND FEEL THE WAY YOU DO

Tell him what you wrote here and explain to him that you love him and ask for forgiveness.

Hope it works out for you.

just tell him how you feel when he does this. and explain that when you explode like that it makes you feel horrible and that you don't mean it.
