They definitely baby me and it gets tiring some times. I know that they care but I know as long as I stay there they will continue to do this and will be in my business.

I was in the same situation at approximately age 23 or so. I had done the college thing, my parents could afford it.

Then, at some point, I think about age 24 or 25, I had a well paying job, and just FELT it was time to move out. I liked the idea of new found freedom too.

I never went back and still have a good relationship with the folks. Believe me, you just KNOW.

Along with money and other housing factors, your 'readiness' is a good factor to consider. Do you feel comfortable about the idea of being on your own? I moved out at 21 when I felt ready but was also fighting with my parents (over lack of freedom) and will always regret not having them involved in my move. Be sure you talk to them about moving out and hopefully its a good transition for all of you

It's time to get out now. If they're babying you and you're bothered by it, it's time for you to find your own place and be a woman...not a little girl under your parents roof and rules. Then you can have and do "your business" without them having any say so.

Apparenty you like the arrangement or you would have moved out on your own long ago. You are their business as long as you reside in their house.
