This guy who i really like is so confusing. First off he has a girlfriend. Me and him know each other pretty good and when we are at church which is mostly when i see him he acts like he is interested in me and flirts a little. At school though we dont see each other that often but when we do he doesnt talk much. What does this mean?

I invited a male friend to a party at a pub. He's not my boyfriend but I was using it as a chance to get to know him better. I really want to date this guy. Two other girls and myself were treating our adult students to drinks at this pub. I thought since I was paying for the students, I should cover for my male friend too. I treated him to an appetizer too. He seemed shocked that I wanted to pay. He offered money for the drinks and I said no, that it was okay. He seemed a little hurt. Did I do something really wrong? I felt like I was treating him because he bought me a drink last time. Later, I felt bad--like I was refusing his generosity. I think this hurt my dating chances. He didn't seem so enthusiastic in his voice when he said "maybe we'll see each other again soon". My female friends think I was a dunce. They always make their guys pay or at least go dutch.

Four years ago, at the age of 23, I dated a man who was ten years older than me. At that time, all of my friends thought he was TOO old for me. Our relationship didn't work out and I always figured that one of the reasons was the age difference. We have remained friendly and have talked occassionally over the years. I just found out that he is dating a 23 year old, who he is now 14 years older than! I just saw her and she has a very nice figure and large fake breasts. Obviously he finds her attractive, but it is hard for me to imagine that he could be so shallow. I would think that there would be a HUGE difference in their maturity and intellect and they wouldn't have much in common. I always thought of him as a nice and intelligent man who needed an emotional connection with a woman instead of just phsyical. I would think he would need more in a relationship than just a phsyical attraction. Why don't most men need that too like women do? How can they be so shallow?

I hurt him by walking away from him, when he was probably thinking everything is going well in our 6 year relationship. It shouldn’t have surprised him cause I have done this many many time.. And most of the time because it was all my fault and I would blame it on him. But recently we were doing okay and we were having a lots of fun...but I ended the relationship because he said a bad joke and after I realize it really was a joke...as always I said sorry and usually he would say nothing but we would be together again but now he is giving me the silent treatment. I really love him we have a lot of history together and a puppy..which he bought for me...I really want him back but he doesn’t give me the chance to tell him how I feel..How do I break his silent treatment?

Why are ugly or fat chicks always the coolest to talk to and most hot chicks have no personality. I swear if some of my ugly chick friends were hot, I'd marry them right now!
I swear it seems like the hot chick have lower self esteem then the ugly fat ones.

I feel very strongly about this woman and she is aware of my feelings. She is currently with someone else, so a relationship is out of the question. We have a very up and down relationship, we can go for days without speaking and then a day later we can become inseperable. Things are very good at the moment.
Today we were talking and she just came out with it. "You're so unpredictable" She even said that all other men are predictable, all except me. It sounds like a good thing to me but i'm not sure. Maybe i'm seeing what i want to see.

Would you rather have a wife/girlfriend/mate who is a really good cook & cooks all the time, or is really good at giving head & does it all the time? Personally, I go for the second! I can pick up a menu & order Thai any time. What do you guys think?

Why do some insecure, not-particularly-attractive men try to date women who are way out of their league and then just wind up trying to put the woman down? I am speaking specifically about a short, scrawny, very average-in-every-way man I know, who is chronically insecure. He will date a woman who is goodlooking and way more successful and instead of enjoying it he will make negative little comments about the woman, in a desperate attempt to make her doubt herself - presumably so she won't realize she can do WAY better than him. It seems really twisted that these kinds of nondescript men would try to build themselves up by putting somebody else down. I'm talking about men who make passive aggressive comments about everything from her weight to her speaking voice. Unless the woman is actually retarded, there is no way that a woman with a lot going for her is going to put up with Joe Ordinary constantly cutting her down. Ladies, if a man claims you're too good for him: you are! :

I've been dating my boyfriend for10 months now and I really want to kiss him. I think maybe it's just like he's afraid of being rejected 'cause he's REALLY shy and I don't know what's going through his head. I love him more than I've ever loved anything and he feels the same (he said so) so what do I do?

I just started hanging out with this guy that I stopped talking to about 6 months ago because my boyfriend at the time found out we were talking and hit the guy over the head with a pipe. I broke up with my boyfriend about 2 weeks ago and have started talking to this guy again. This new guy likes hanging out with me alot and calls me all the time, but he says he's worried that I will go back to my ex. Also, a couple days ago his ex-girlfriend found out we were talking again a freaked out! She got my phone number and calls me to threaten me. Well now he's acting weird and sending me mixed signals. One day he says hes thought alot about this and definately wants to be with me, the next he says we need to not rush into things becuase I just got out of a 3 year relationship..I have NO idea what to think about this situation. He tells me he really likes me and thinks about me all the time, but then I dont always know if he actually does...HELP!!

How many guys would want a genuine, long-lasting relationship with a girl who is saving her virginity for marriage? I'm a girl who is 21 years old, and I think that it will be very hard for me to find a guy who will be willing to make a geunie commitment to me since he would know that he ain't getting sex. Lots of guys say I'm beautiful and I have dated a few guys but it never works out cuz they can't wait. They seem to end it after a while, making up some excuse when I know that it's becuase of the no-sex thing. It is flattering to get hit by guys, but I'm scared to start anything with them cuz I know that most guys just want sex and I won't be able to give that to them. It seems as though my beauty and sweet personality is not enough for them, they need sex badly.
Guys what do you think? Where can I find a guy who will want to commit to me?

do alot of guys do this?, im finding it hard being in this relationship,he says its just the way he is, the argument could be resolved as soon as its started as its usually over petty things that one of us has picked up wrongly, but instead he just chooses to ignore me for days........i think its immature, but i do love him, but dont know how to handle this situation, i feel he playing mind games with me, to hurt me as if to hurt me back for upsetting him, and it makes me feel down, cause if you love someone you wouldnt hurt them would you? he says he loves me, but i think it easy to say, actions speak louder......i have tried talking to him!!!
