Singles & Dating - 12 December 2006

Hey Everyone-
I truly do like this bankteller at the bank that I go to, the past few days I have tried to talk to her and the next teller is ear shot away and she could hear or listen to what I would say to the bankteller. What should i do about that? I thought of writting a note, and I just dont know what to say in the note. Can ya give me advice on what Ishould say in the note, thanks i really appreciate ur help bc I really do like her. Thanks again

A little background info: I met and fell in love with what seemed to be the perfect guy, we were together almost 2 years, I became pregnant and he told me that I should just leave him because in his words"there is no telling what I would do or say to you and I dont want to cause you any more pain". aka GONE He moved away to another state. I now have a 6 month old daughter to raise alone. Now, there is no chance I would get back with my ex because I know I need to move on and he clearly doesnt want me or my daughter. I was discussing dating with a friend of mine and she said I have made a big mistake by having this baby. she said I ruined my chances of being with my ex and that it is not likely that I will find someone who truly accepts myself and my daughter. She said that men will only try and use me for sex, but wont be a father to another man's kid. and also If the first guy didnt care enough about mom and baby, the next guy wont either Im really hurt by her comment even if true

i always blush when i'm talking to girls. it'll go away after i've been with them for like a couple of hours or the next day when i see them.
but the first time ,it's really hard and embarrasing cuz i don't see many other guys blush like that.
what should i do? i'm also a little bit nervous when i start talking to some1. how can i make this go away?
i really hate to blush, it's soooo embarrasing.

I have a boy friend. I have a bf and she is bi. I'm fine w/ it, but I've started to question myself. Then at her b-day I stayed over, and I have another friend thta stayed the night. My bi friend has always said she liked my other friend. Then she told me that she liked me but thought it would hurt our friendship. I agreed and we pretty much walked around in our undergarments the rest of the night. I messed with her bra and a little went on(turns out other friend is jealous), but I was kinda uncomfortable because I wasn't raised that way. Now, I really regret not getting farther sort of. I have a lot of dreams about b-friend and best friend (s*xual). I kinda wish we would have gotten further. I think I'd be more comfortable and enjoy a girl better but I think I love my boyfriend!

so i have this guy friend who is always hanging around me and is like talking to me all the time and last night i had a dream about him where he asked me out and i said yes. also, he touches me (not innapropriatley) but he always is talking to me and trying to not let other people talk to me when hes around. but he asked my best friend out and she said no so now everybody jokes around and says hes moved on to me... i feel that i might have feelings for him, but im not sure...

I'm 37 and in my teens and 20's I always had a beautiful girlfriend..then I smashed my jaw up, got a long thug looking scar on my face,and my hair has gone a bit thin and grey. I've been sober 9 mths now and I havent got the confidence to approach the kind of girls I was used to.I'm not shallow because I've also been with girls that I didnt really find attractive but that didnt matter because they were beautiful within.Maybe I'm terrified of having a relationship sober!Any tips?

I understand that finding true love is really hard. You eaither have to be really lucky or......well pretty much that's it. Divorce rate is higher than ever. Breaking up as bf/gf is greater than ever. Is it true that single people now are not even looking for a gf or bf? Im a single guy and whenever I had an attraction to a girl, she always taken. I am not a homewrecker so i dont go forward with the persue. But ive noticed that single girls doesnt want to get hooked up anymore. Most single people now just want to have fun and not be with one person for a long time. I am a different breed of singles. I am looking for a long term gf and hopefully will become my wife in the future. Im on26 now and Im done with messin around. I've been with several girls in the past but it's just having fun. Now im ready to settle down with only 1 person. But it's hard for me to find a serious gf because people dont like to stay in a relationship for a long time anymore.

ive been dating a man who just got out of a long term relationship when i met him. he told me from the start he couldnt commit to anything serious. I was fine with that too. I then wanted more, he agreed. then i found out he was seeing someone else. we eneded it and then started up again. then there was an period of time where nothing was talked about. Then he came to me and said he had all these deep feelings and wanted us to go to therapy. we ended the talk because the timing was really bad. i chose not to bring it up again but then realized he was still seeing other women and everything started to unravel. until i blew it. he honestly tried very hard to make things work for both of us but i didnt walk when i wasnt ok with him seeing other women. now he wants nothing to do with me and its my fault. can i do anything to prove im sorry?
