-If she goes out of her way to compliment you or just to say hello.
-If she is always eager to help you out with something or gives you assistance when you don't even ask specifically.
-If she is asking you a lot of questions about yourself.
-If she is finding ways to hang out with you in some kind of informal way.
-If all her friends are coming around and asking you strange questions about yourself...petty and kind of highschool I know, but I've seen girls have friends scope a guy if she's into him.
Sometimes the opposite though, she may act quiet, jealous, a little out of her character...just because she is afraid of doing or saying something strange or because she's afraid you may not like her.

Here are my signs to tell if a girl likes you:
-You are in school and you look up and just happen to see her staring at you
-You talk to another girl and she acts funny or tries to break up the conversation or join in out of no where
-She asks you if you have a girlfriend (but this one is not guarantee because she could be asking for a friend)
-She ask you alot of questions about yourself
-She seems to do anything for your attention even annoying things
-She gives you a longer hug than she gives other guys

It is really simple. I am a girl and I know this for a fact. She will try to become your friend, and get your phone number or email, trying to be as natural as possible. In my case, I got it through a project. I was working with my guy.
If you think a girl likes you, just ask her. Make it like a joke. So, if she says something like 'don't be ridiculous', you can say...'but seriously...do you?' if she says yes, there you go. If she says no...well, she doesn't then. Most girls find it hard to lie in a position like that.
