You can catch a cold from someone from just being in the same ROOM as they are -- the cold virus does very nicely airborne, you know. One sneeze will do it.
If you have sex with them, even if you don't kiss, you're gonna be up close and personal -- chances are probably very good you're gonna catch it.

You can catch a cold from touching a public door knob and tehn touching your mouth, or eyes. So yes you can catch a cold from someone that you have sex with, even if you don't kiss.

you can catch a cold if you get contact with the affected person through the air of her or his breath, because the bacteria can be on the cloth or skin but not directly by kiss o sex.
