An ex wanted to see me every night or every other night just two weeks into our relationship. When I explained that things were moving too fast for me and I needed to see him a little less than that, he got very angry and told me that unless I agreed to see him as often as he wanted he would not be able to continue being exclusive with me and would need to have sex with other people. He even wanted to move into my apartment after knowing me about 6 weeks. He made it seem like I was in the wrong for not wanting things to move so fast and he got really angry. What makes a man act like this? I thought men were supposed to be *afraid* of commitment, not forcing it on you! Why did he get so nasty when I wanted to move at a more reasonable pace? What does this tell me about him?

One of my recent boyfriends started out great but a few weeks into it, he would have huge emotional highs where he would overspend, not sleep at all and want a lot of sex followed by lows when he would be critical, depressed and depressing and hell to be around. One of the early warning signs were the mood swings and his abuse of alcohol and cannabis. What are some other warning signs that a man (or woman for that matter) is unstable?

So, I met this guy at a party Saturday night. He wasn't really my type, so at first I didn't pay much attention, but as the night went on he kept trying to win me over and we ended up having a *great* conversation, and spent the entire night talking. Well he asked for my number and called me the next day so I went to his house and we hung out . At the end of the night he walked me to my car and asked if I had a good time and if I wanted to see him again, and I said yes. And he said well....how about you call me if you wanna hang out again. And I turned it around and said No YOU have to call me in a joking way, and we laughed about it and he agreed, but said after that it was my turn to call him first. So I went on my way and now have been waiting two days for his call. I know he is busy with work, so that could be why. But I just really want to talk to him and hang out again (soon!) So...should I just wait it out or call him? Help!

the natural thing to assume is disinterest.. but shes shy and i asked her out and she said yes a couple months ago. but things dipped and she does the look to right thing when i meet her eye... i would again assume disinterest but this was the sign i used months ago to ask her out.

Okay i literally LOVE this guy you might think taht a bit extreme since i'm young but seriously I do. Well we are really good friends but this year we were put in different classes and I never get to talk to him but I still have the same feelings maybe even stronger! anyways we started highschool and we havent talked in forever. We were together 4 years and broke up 5 months ago. He says he doesn't want a relationship. He says he doesn't want to sleep with me because it's only gonna lead me on, but I am just wondering what it usually means when someone says this. I am the one who broke up with him originally and then I tried to get back with him after a couple months when I realized him I missed him alot and really did love him and by then he had changed to the point of telling me this. When I was feeling really down, I told him I would wait for him to want to be with me again, (I NOW REALIZE THAT WAS RIDICULOUS!) but he said that isn't fair to me and he doesn't know how long it would take. This has been very hard because he has been the love of my life and we shared so many years together. I keep hoping that he will open his eyes and realize that the other girls out there are just want to have a good time and don't really care about him. i have been in love with a person since 4yrs and we used to be very loving..
but then he started to take "over care"(thts wht he says)on me and even till today never allows me to meet friends or even talk on phone to others.he says u ll be mislead..!
all thse yrs,i got used to it,but once i promised him i will be the girl as u wish to be..unable to see his sadness...may be i thought i could come down a bit..
since then we didnt hav any prob,though i could feeel the decreasing love..
now,at present,he still more decreased the ways of showing love...

Well i have a bf, but i believe i am still in love with my ex bf, and i know he loves me bc hes been waiting 3 years one me. I wasnt allowed to be with my ex bc of age differences. I know i was in love with him cuz i have never felt this way about anyone. He(my ex) tells me he loves me everytime i talk to him. My current bf is kinda controlling me, he tells me what i can and cant do and who i can and cant talk to. If i am mad at him and dont wanna kiss him he will force me to kiss him anyway. In the begining i thought he was a great guy but now things arw going downhill and he is pushing me away. How do you deal with a man that you were in a relationship with for 2 years but now you are no longer with as being comitted to because he's no longer happy with the love you gave him and showed him on a daily basis. In other words the love wasn't enough for him anymore. He's dating another woman now and I know he very much in love with her but he refuses to admit it to me I believe because of fearing that I would be hurt. But the fact is I have already felt the pain from him wanting more than I could give him. I must admit that I'm not officially dating anyone at this time and i realize that he is very happy about that but the only reason why I'm not is because I havent met anyone that I'm interested in as of yet. But in the mean time I do still have a partime sexual relationship with him but it's only for conveince for me right now and for him, he's getting his icecream and cake.
