I sometimes have the problem with women after they find out that I have made adult films. I do not divulge this until after we are about 6 months into the relationship. What usually happens is when were at my house watching TV I put in one of my feature films I was in and see their reactions. Some like it, some do not.

Well it still can be a problem since I am still doing the films! To answer a few of your questions I am getting check for STD'S and there are no issues. My studio makes us wear protection and get random testing done 2 times a week. My current GF is NOT aware of my profession yet.

I think plenty will still want to date you. I think the real question is will the girls that you would like to date still want to date you and that is a tougher question. Be honest and upfront and you will find a way through, but if you wait to 6 months down the track to tell your past they will burn you.

I think that I would be offended that you wanted 6 months to reveal this "secret", it makes someone feel that they were lied to. Also, introducing her to your movies by telling her about them first might be a little less of a shock then just showing her the tape.

not me.....but more because of stds and aids.yeah ,yeah i know they make you guys get tested regularly....but even in this day in age where society is more educated and aware of the dangers of unprotected sex and having multiple sex partners, the diseases are still very much around and spreading like porn stars' legs....regardless the measures the porn industry takes to keep their porn stars disease free. In the end it is still best to always use protection and be monogamous.

Women do NOT want to see a guy they like having sex with another woman... It's just common sense... You should tell the woman about your past film making before things get too serious or too far into the relationship (like 6 months)... I'd be pissed if I started to really like a guy and then he pops in a video of him having sex with another girl... Its like a slap in the face....

now are you retired from the biz or still in it? do you want a committed long term relationship? their reactions would most likely change depending on those variables. also things could change depending on the situation you two met in.

I wouldn't, it'd be like sleeping with a hooker. Wouldn't know what has been where.
I think that if you were truly accepting of what you did yourself, you wouldn't be waiting 6 months to tell your girlfriends. Sounds like you are ashamed of yourself

i am opposed to the whole pornography industry. and frankly i would be somewhat angry that you had kept such a secret for 6 months. that is more like a one month something to tell.

If you were a male adult film star, then you would know that you're just a prop. But you're not, so you're just a guy who wishes he was a prop.
