An ex wanted to see me every night or every other night just two weeks into our relationship. When I explained that things were moving too fast for me and I needed to see him a little less than that, he got very angry and told me that unless I agreed to see him as often as he wanted he would not be able to continue being exclusive with me and would need to have sex with other people. He even wanted to move into my apartment after knowing me about 6 weeks. He made it seem like I was in the wrong for not wanting things to move so fast and he got really angry. What makes a man act like this? I thought men were supposed to be *afraid* of commitment, not forcing it on you! Why did he get so nasty when I wanted to move at a more reasonable pace? What does this tell me about him?

One thing it tells you is you don't want to be with him! If he wants to be with you that much and threatens to not continue to see you then call his bluff. If he's really that big a jerk then move on you can do better. I hope you find someone that deserves you. Maybe there is a reason he wants to stay with you, think about it.

Different people have different paces. Maybe six weeks is a hella long time to not be cohabitating for him. Also, men have no trouble picking up right where they left off in a relationship, so six weeks now, plus whatever time you spent together before... Another reason some guys get too close is to keep other guys from getting close too. Eh, eh... catch my dift. And last, it could either tell you he is super cool and just darn smitten with you, or an aggresivve freak that needs a boot. It's a judgement call that needs to be made by someone who knows the whole situation... preferably you.

Sounds like he just wants to use you and sponge off you for wanting to move in with you instead of vice versa . Stay away from this one he spells trouble , mental case here just stay away and don't see him again he could be dangerous and on the run .

This ex is a wacko- he is mad at you for not being able to control you. Get out now, he is a jealous-insecure chump. Find a man that will respect you & move at your pace- not his. Good luck.

Not right for you. This guy's sole motivation hangs between his legs and he may be opportunistic too in wanting to live in your place -- why not his? Rent responsibilities? In any case, this guy's no good. RUN! A major characteristic of love is patience for the person you love.

to me it sounds like this boy needs companion badly. or he just want to have a steady girlfriend so he could be sure he can have sex conveniently. and in fact he has made himself clear already by saying that he would have sex with others if you don't see him so often. i think it'll take a little more time to see if you really love this boy also if he really loves you. gd luck.
