Singles & Dating - 10 November 2006

On Friday, I had a great date with a guy that I've been seeing for two months. (We're both 28.) On Monday, I sent him a text. No response. On Tuesday, I left him a message. No response. Today, I sent him a text. Again, no response. The reason I've been trying to reach him is because a couple of weeks ago, we made a date for next Saturday to go to a concert in NY. I wanted to make sure he bought his tickets because I got mine.

I don't understand what's going on. We didn't have a fight or anything and he seemed happy when he left on Friday. My friend says not to worry about it. I can't help thinking the worst and my feelings are really hurt. What the heck is going on?

Doesn't it bother you when u get to chat with a younger (i mean much younger girl, min 5 yrs difference), and all she wants to talk is sex and she can actually talk without getting bored is that. And when you chat about other things that are more serious and more important she says "ah, your boring" and stuff like that, like it's our fault she knows nothing else to talk about. how can you get her aware of this fact, that the problem is actualy hers without geting her into a deeper stage of frustration?

The problem is that it is firstly a long distance relationship. Secondly, she just finish her degree and now comes to the decision whether to come to find me or pursue her study overseas. Another factor is that my parents doesnt think that she will be my wife but I love her a lot and she loves me so much too. what is the best way to work this out, will our relationship last if we are seperated for more than 2 years? Will she be a burden if she comes to me now? What can i do to help her? What is the best solution?

haha no, i dont really hate woman. its just i had this girl friend and we went otu for like 7 months. they were the best 7 months of my life. i know they were the best fo hers to. but a few weeks ago i noticed thigns werent doing so good with us. then she tells me we need to go on a break. so we do, for about 3 days. and she tells me she met this other guy. so i realized that he was the reason everything started to fall apart in the first place. she left me for him. THEN i find out that she did some things with thsi guy 1 day after we broke up. thast plain mean. we were only on break. but the thing is, she figured out he was an asshole and now shes crawling right back to me. i really do think she learned her lesson. and i understand it takes disaster to learn lessons sometimes. i am positve she leanred the grass is NOT greener on the other side. what she did hurt me, but i forgive her. my question is, should i take her back? because everyone makes mistakes. she wouldnt do this again.

My friends boyfriend is a super nice guy. He treats her well...but sometimes he won't call her when he says he will. He even disappears for a day or two. She doesn't believe there is another woman, however, she believes he is out drinking with his friends. The only problem is, he never gives her a proper explanation. They have been together for almost 6 years. I keep telling her to teach him a lesson by giving him a dose of his own medicine. Was I wrong to say that? I've been told by friends that sometimes your first love can be long and drawn out because its your first experience with the opposite sex intimately. my ex wrote me saying he was going to try things out again with his current girlfriend (broke up for a bit). he said in an email that he would let me know what happens but that he would be grateful for space at the moment. My boyfriend has a lot of fines for speeding and driving unregistered vehicles. He has all of his fines on an installment plan that i pay every fortnight. It costs $40 a fortnight and i only ear about $200 a week. He earns around $600 a week but never has a chance to pay the fines. I have asked for $20 a week every week so that i am not out of pocket but he just forgets. Now he owes me almost $250 and i need the money for a $100+ bill. I dont know how to ask for it back. Its not that he would get angry or anything like that but i just dont like asking for money. how do i go about this ?

One guy said shouldnt date a girl you work with. This does make sense cause it "could" cause problems. So I have a simple question, if I did decide to not date any girls at work. Ok...i have this guy friend....we've been buddies for years. We even dated a few months a few years back but decided we were just too good of friends. It was just weird kissing and all that stuff..so we never did ne thing of that sort.
Now...the past few mths weve been hanging out more and for a minute i did start to like him like that again. OKAY! My boyfriend & I broke up a year ago & he went to the National Guard in June. While there he started writing me letters & we kind of started havin feelings 4 each other again or @ least I did I'm not sure about him. Then after he went to a different base he started callin me & we talked everyday 4 hours. So my feelings got stronger. I had him out of my system completely then all of a sudden he just pops up like a zit. The problem is he stopped talkin to me completely with no reason or warning. Then his friend said that he is doing it for my good. How is that good??? How can you get some1's hopes up like that then smash them like a roach? He is still gone & won't be home for a couple months & be4 he said that we will see what happens when he gets back but it isn't definite that we will get back 2gether. That I could handle but the catch is that I looked at his page & he has other girls on it. I was upset when I saw it. Does that mean that I am in LOVE? If so what the crap do I do?

allright, so I don't have the luxury of getting a girlfriend. Sad, but true. I am doing allright without one, but the feelings of a relationships is what i miss most. Okay so I have been checking this girl out lately. I like the way she looks and she seems to be nice. We work at the same place, but she works in a different department. I dont seem to ever have any breaks with her, and are lunches at everytime. Otherwise this would be much more convenient. So I am thinking I am just going to have to come on to her within a 5 minute gap during the middle of work and say something. I think she can tell I like her. Or atleast I have been checking her out. I can see the nervousness in her eyes as she can probably see in mine. But hopefully hers is good nervousness, and not the "Gosh I am going to have to reject him" nervousness. Lol.
